Love Cole Chance; she has a large selection of videos and beginners like me can find what they need. Good luck!

If you are getting back into it or just starting perhaps ask your doctor and go from there.

I have found that when my thoughts will not let me sleep that a brief bedtime yoga video (or 2) is helpful. It’s low key, physically feels good, and the different voice in my head helps me relax into sleep. Cole Chance on YouTube is good for me. I am very sorry about this pain. Wishing you comfort and rest.

I am very sorry to hear this. Be patient and kind with you both of you. Be honest about getting the help you both need and get it: legal, medical, social/emotional, respite. In the US there are government agencies to help with aging at the county and state levels. Groups like ALZ.org can offer connections for support…

I'd suggest barefoot/quiet cardio, sometimes called fusion. Ellen Barrett's Barefoot Cardio is my favorite, but, if plies (squats with toes pointed out like a ballerina) would irritate your knee, you can check out the different versions that Jessica Smith offers. They're all on YouTube. Good luck!

Hi, TH2017! I started at 154 and MFP also suggested 1200 calories. If I did it again, I would track my typical eating for a week then, each week or so after, work my way down. If I had done it this way, I would have avoided the fatigue and depression -and at one point lightheadedness-that came with such a dramatic cut.…

Congratulations! What a wonderful success!

Feel free to add me! I had been maintaining for a bit, but now have to work about 8 pounds off! Looking forward to working out again! Regarding your first question: Slow but steady in terms of expectations and consistently working out. Oh, and I always eat back my calories - I'm like Betty White in the Snickers commercial…

Love this! So sane! Just for today ... 1) I will skip dessert and have dessert 2) I will. log. everything.

Your best tool here is education, and that through a doctor's office. Bad thoughts aren't healthy and are one way we tell ourselves that we need help. Your doctor may have the information and support you need. If you are concerned enough to post, then keep being the smart woman and call your doctor's office or a help line…

Dance party! Crank up some tunes and dance for half an hour! Kids will dance with you - which is where they really seem to want to be - or get bored and do something else. You get some cardio and some appeciation as to how hard it is. It takes patience to teach kids new roles as you alter yours (from mom to "doing…

Bump. I've been looking for sandwhich alternatives, too - thanks!
