I've definitely heard of this- where people lose weight but still see themselves as the "old" version. Even Jennifer Hudson remarks about grabbing size 16s off of racks and having to go out and get smaller sizes- and even then, she'd go out of the fitting room and grab a size 8 or 10. Hopefully you'll stay near your goal…

Thank you everyone. I guess I'll learn what works over the next few months. In the meantime. I need to focus on consistency!!!!!!!!!!

I am not a bride- well I was, but I was a 2008 bride :-). Anyway, I peeked into this forum because September 2013 my cousin is getting married and I need to drop some serious pounds. I absolutely cannot be the "fat" relative in the pictures- no way. no how! But I refuse to skip anymore social events because of my size.…

Just in case you do not have plans, or funds, to buy a food scale immediately, you could try taking 7 ziplocks and dividing the chips into 7 equal portions. That would ensure that you're eating pretty close to the portion size, and also that NEXT time you wanted to eat some they'd already be in the perfect serving size.

Hey... I seem to have a love/hate relationship with the bandwagon! I've been a member for about 3 weeks. And I'm currently kicking myself because I am only 1 pound under my starting weight after 20 days. So yeah, clearly I've been on and off the wagon. I'm back on now, and plan on sticking around. Heck, today I went over…

I just started the c25k program. For the 1st week, its basically a combination of run/jog and walk and then it ramps up the time and duration of the intervals. Does this count as HIIT?

Ooooh.....I took the test. Not shocked by the results, but I kind of wish it would've given some tips to work around the eating types!

Welcome back! Here's to sticking around until you smashed through your goal!

Wow! You are beautiful in every single one of those pictures. Good luck on your journey. I can hear (read) the determination in your post, so I have a feeling you'll be in the "success story" section of the site soon!
