I got D3 when it came out, hit 60 on my barb and stopped playing for a bit. Tried out TL2, but it doesn't feel as polished and I don't like the classes in it. I tried D3 again recently, and its a little better, but stul kinda boring. So right now i'm back to playing LoL.

I played a lot during vanilla and stuck with it until after WotLK came out, and then i started going on and off a lot. Mostly because I don't have a lot of friends that play and I'm not social enough to make friends on my own in game, which is partly due to people being slightly "special". Plus I have a family now and that…

The issue is, if you don't know your BMR you risk damaging your body. Which is why going outside if MFP and reading other sites is highly recommended. You can't just five into the deep end of the pool without knowing how to swim.
-
Set MFP to maintenance,.then google a BMR calculator and find out how many calories minimum your body needs pet day to maintain itself. Don't drop below your BMR to often or by too much as it can be detrimental to your health. Eating 1200 calories and then burning 500 from exercise is the same thing as only eating 700…

Ah, that makes sense now, in a vague way anyways. Lifting is anaerobic in nature (hence why creatine is, in theory, a great supplement) and since all the equations based upon heart rate make use of O2 rates they are pretty much useless when it comes to lifting.
-
Ah, did not know that, interesting, just gave me some more stuff to look into. Thanks.

Oh and by "Eat my BMR" I mean of course net after exercise.

My issue with this is how did you arrive at 3 cal/minute? There's already so much guestimation involved with counting calories that I don't like throwing in another arbitrary number in there if I don't have to. Also why isn't an HRM a good estimator of calories burned for strength training? Lifting elevates the heart rate,…

Start lifting. It will build muscle and tone you up. Doing just straight cardio will only burn calories. Lifting in conjunction with cardio will help you lose weight while keeping you healthy. I'm assuming its the flab on your upper arm, for that do bicep and tricep exercises, such as curls and tricep extensions. I've been…

this is stupid. I have to get up at 3am in the morning. Does this mean I shouldn't eat until 7am? is there some magical point in time at which your body switches to burn mode? The reason people get fat from eating late at night is because they cheat and don't include it in their calorie count. That's assuming they are…

from the little bit I have read so far looking into this, it seems that the "studies" that try and prove that its fattening to eat after a certain time do not eliminate all the variables needed to make a concrete conclusion. In one they simply "followed" the eating habits of groups of people, some of who stayed up late and…

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Creatine Now I know Wikipedia isn't exactly the best way to get information, but this is pretty much spot on from what I remember from a physiology book. A side effect of creatine is water retention. Its actually used to help with the synthesis of ATP, which is in turned used in the anabolic…

Also Eat To Live means what it sounds like...EAT THE CALORIES YOU NEED TO LIVE Not starve yourself half to death to look like a skeleton. I honestly don't understand how people can confuse the two. Edit: Oh and all of you people who are saying that its ok to consistently eat under your BMR do not have your diaries open to…

You eat more Food, but you take in less Calories. That's the whole point of counting calories, so that you can track where your gut is coming from.

BMR is the absolute minimum your body needs to maintain its function. No, a day off here or there won't hurt. Hell even a week or two probably wouldn't be noticeably detrimental. However in time your body will start to consume itself in order to maintain life support. The magic 1200 number, for women, is to ensure safe and…

The only thing is the "daily workout" uses more calories than the "heavy workout"
