  • Ive been on MFP about 9 months! Fell free to add me!
  • Ive tried every flavor- and I LOVE these! The only one I dont like is Strawberry Banana. My fav is Pineapple. Yes, they are high in sugar, like most yogurts, but they are creamy and delicious! I will eat mine with 1/4Cup of Wheaties Fuel cereal as my breakfast. Yummy!
  • You look AMAZING! You're just a litle thing now! What an inspiration you are! Thanks for sharing!
  • All great advice here! I love oil and viegar with salt and pepper- not too much oil. Experiment and make your own concoctions in a shaker. It takes some time- but you ll get to where you dont need much dressing!
  • PS- Turbo FIre is AWESOME!
  • Make sure you are tweeking your diet- Results are 80% What you put in your mouth. Also, you could be eating too little for the amount of working out you are doing. I know with me...... at one time I was a 130 lbs size 8.. then I got really good about the types of food I ate, and did both cardio and weight training- and…
  • Liz- Yeah, try never to be under 1200. Best case scenario is to eat all the calories allowed to you based on what you put in to MFP- and even eat back your workout calories. You might need more like a 1400 cal minimum. If you are eating well, working out, and not loosing weight- you will know you need to eat more calories!…
  • BRINT IT! IM ALL IN!
  • Take it one choice at a time- one meal at a time, one day at a time! Oh- and the phone app has a bar code scanner now- have you used that yet? Its so cool! Love you sis!

  • Firstly, sorry for your loss! I suffreed 3 miscarraiges-so I can empathize. Part of your issues could be related to the stress and emotions of what you have been through! Also- 1200 calories is too low, especially if you are working out! Like so many have said- eat back the calories your burn during excercise! Also- change…
  • NICE- add some music and increase your time a little every day! YOU CAN DO THIS!
  • Welcome! This site will really help you! I had thyroid problems in my early 20's (Hyperthyroid) and had it obliterated- so now I take meds every day- and over the years finding the right Rx has been a challange! As far as diets- ive tried EVERY ONE! The most realistic is just to eat healthy and excercise! However, I did…
  • Welcome! This site is awesome! Make sure to track ALL you eat- even on the days you go overbeard- it will reallyhelp you in the long run! Happy tracking!
  • Im a fan of Polar! They have all kinds of versions- from simple to very sports specific. Ive had a Polar for 6 years now- I just replace the batteries when needed. And I just replaced the chest strap/receiver recently. I did hear of someone who bought a version of one at Kmart or wallmart for under $30- and for the sake of…
  • Welcome to the MFP family!
  • I have a hard time not going over my calories every day (1390)- and that inlcudes eating back my excercise calories (sometimes 400-600 more) - so I can not relate. However- I am a mom- and have breastfed before- so that i CAN relate to. I would say try protien shakes a few times a day to up your calories. I even keep…
  • Yea- not a fan of "in the ear" either. I have a paid that have foam bids that sit just inide the ear and a piece that goes around my ear - that works best for me!
  • When my husband and I were on a low carb diet- we always did canned chili over turkey hot dogs- no bun for my husband and I, a bun for our son. Then I served a bid salad before dinner and sometimes some sweet potato fries.
  • Agreed- unless you need to watch your sodium- I say they are way better than the drive thru! I like to buy the Man N Cheese or Alfredo and then add tuna for protien-Nummy! Good for you for taking time to get healty with your busy schedule! It will give you the energy you need! Hopefully you can slow it down in June! Good…
  • I made this for my family and it was a HIT! I have even done a non- noodle variation and served it over low fat biscuits! Both are delicious! Thanks for sharing!
  • Welcome! This is really a great resource and accountability tool!
  • Welcome! Yes, tracking the calories helps keep you accountable! I try to even track a cheat meal, or even an entirely bad day- just to remind myself of the long term consecuences of eating like that every day. I love that when you close out your day it tells you hnow much you will wiegh in 5 weeks if you ate like that…
  • I have a Polar and use it when I excercise. Ive had it 5 years and I get a new battery when I need it- and just replaced the chest strap piece for the first time. I did do the Body Bugg for about 6 months last year. It worked well- but I literally got an indent in my left bicep from wearing it so much and when I worked…
  • Tracking the intake and output helps you get a grasp on whats really going on! You will love it! Sometimes you will hate it! :) NEVER SURRENDER!
  • Enjoy yourself- in moderation- and bring healthy options too! And get a work out in beforehand so you have some extra calories to use up! Have fun!
  • You need to put your self first at least SOME of the time! Man, My kid is 15 and I make him go to bed at 9:30pm. Even when he was a baby I put him to bed by 9pm- so I could work out 9-10pm, take a shower and get to bed. Kids need at least 10 hours of sleep when they are young- and you need at least 7 if you hope to be in…
  • Water mostly. Here is a trick for nummy water- Take a pitcher and put in cut up lemon and orange- then add water- and let sit in the fridge for awhile. Adds delicious flavor. Try other combinations too- like lime and cucucmber. I also make homemade ice tea in pitchers- using flavored teas (ie Tazo Passion Tea) and Truvia…
  • Sorry to hear about this! Its always crazy when the people who love us dont want us to be happy! Change is hard for men! I run into resistance with my husband on other issues- not fitness and health- but things like my hair style and clothes. Any kind of resistance is hard- becuase it keep us from living up to our full…
  • Sounds Delicious- cant wait to try it!
