Chobani Greek Yogurt

I've been hearing a lot of good things about this yogurt. Has anyone tried it before? Is it really good? I just want to be a product junkie and go out and buy everything that I hear good things about and then be disappointed in the end.

search the threads for "greek yogurt". you'll get all the opinions you need.
tastes like ice cream!!!0 -
It's much better than the dannon type. Those are terrible. The blueberry is the best. If you have any other types of food that you are curious about, feel free to ask me. I try almost anything once.0

I've had the blueberry and I think it was strawberry flavors. They're both pretty good. No harm in trying it to see if you like it.0

theyre very high in sugar, just in case ur watchin ur sugar levels.. thats why i dont really eat them, but they do have alot of protein, so its a toss up! lol0

I just finished a Chobani Pineapple after hearing so much about this brand. Must say, it was darn tasty. I have never been a yogurt fan. But this was the first time I was able to get all the way through a container of greek yogurt without having to talk myself through it.0

Chobani is the best stuff ever. The Black Cherry is the best.0

I love Greek yogurt and Chobani is the best! I am partial to the plain one, because I like to add my own fresh fruit to it rather than let others add fruit AND sugar ;-)
You have to try it but don't expect anything like the ones you've had before. The texture and flavor are very different.
Also, you can buy the fat free one and it still is creamy and tasty!0 -
I love them. Mix them with granola every morning for breakfast. They're always on sale at my grocery store or else I probably wouldn't buy them so much.0

they are very yummy! I don't like the vanilla though. Stay with the fruit flavored and stir, stir, stir! :happy:0

Chobani & Fage Total (not 2%, TOTAL) are my favorites. I recommend getting plain. That way you control the sweetness & ingredients better
Definitely get yourself some chobani or Fage!0 -
I eat one a day...they are smooth and creamy and all natural! My favorite is Pomegranate...they are pricey though so just try one or 2 to see how you like it!0

I loooooooove chobani. Here's why:
It's delicious and it's so smooooooooth! It is lower in fat and calories than most yogurts but it doesn't have that 'light' or fake sweetener taste to it. It also comes in more than just one flavor. I love the strawberry and the blueberry. Note: The pomegranate one is a little weird...It has the seeds from a pomegranate in there. It keeps me full far longer than a regular yogurt does.
I'd suggest buying one of the strawberry and one of the regular. The regular one can be used to add honey and some stevia and maybe some of your own granola or berries. Hope this helps! Happy snacking!0 -
Ive tried every flavor- and I LOVE these! The only one I dont like is Strawberry Banana. My fav is Pineapple. Yes, they are high in sugar, like most yogurts, but they are creamy and delicious! I will eat mine with 1/4Cup of Wheaties Fuel cereal as my breakfast. Yummy!0

I have tried them all and Chobani is the best. They are a bit high in sugar, BUT, it's cane sugar, not high fructose sugar.
The flavor is amazing and worth the cost. Go buy one, you won't be disappointed. AND...it's got a ton of protein and is good for you.0 -
I had the pomegranate one and it as ok.0
-
it's by far the BEST yogurt I have ever had. I LOVE it!0
-
I only tried the Vanilla and thought it was horrible!! I'll have to give the others a shot0
-
I like the fruit flavored ones.....most of them have no fat but the pineapple and mango are 2%......also the plain and vanilla are good if you add fruit or use them as sour cream0

Just wanted to add check you local Publix store this week. Ours has the 6 oz assorted varieties on sale this week for 10/$10.00. I haven't tried it yet but will be getting me some this weekend!0

I eat one every day. I usually add berries or maybe a little honey if I buy plain (my store is alway out of vanilla or honey).0
-
I eat the Strawberry every morning! i buy a big container and only eat 4oz at a time instead of 6oz. Its thicker then other yogurts imo but i like it sooo much more!0

I love greek yogurt in general. Fage or chobani plain non fat is perfect for me because I can make it my own and decrease the sugar. I have it daily for breakfast.
1/4 cup frozen berries (thawed with juices reserved)
1/3 cup yogurt plain non fat (i buy the big containers and usually i'll buy a month supply (4 to 6 large fage containers) at once since my stores don't keep it in stock often)
1/3 tsp honey
6 almonds
1/4 cup Kashi triple Berry crisp to top after mixing
*optional- more fruit- I'm using half a banana currently.
It is delicious and I control the sugar (without the banana it is only 12 grams of sugar.)0 -
its like regular yogurt but thicker i love it0
-
Funny you ask, I'm eating the blueberry one right now! LOVE IT!0
-
LOVE IT! so do all my kids and my hubby too. Can not keep it in the house! Love the Vanilla. I add fresh fruit. The individual fruit ones are the ones my kids love. They will even eat the Mango flavored one. I buy it at BJ's wholesale club (cheapest I have found it.)0

I have been eating the Chobani Champions. It's supposed to be for children and comes in 100 cal servings. The flavors I have tried are Verry Berry and Honey-nana. They are both good, IMO. I had my 9 yr old try them and he hated them, he said they are too sour. They are a bit tart, but I like them. I also like to use the plain flavor in place of sour cream. It's a bit different but a good swap out.0

its amazing..but super high in suggar..now I use fage 0% from DANNON....is less calories, sugar etc...and i do add one splenda e one cup of sugar free jello..or some fresh fruits...even cereal....lol its so good0
-
I really like it for a snack after I workout. I buy the nonfat plain version in the big tub and mix it with whatever fruit I have around, and some splenda. Plain, it tastes very similar to sour cream. I also use it for mac and cheese and I also add some to our mashed potatoes on occassion.0

The fruit flavours are high in sugar and carbs and the plain one requires some sweetener or lots of fruit to get through the bitter taste.
I'm chalking it up to fad food item but I’m glad I tried it. I get 70-100g of protein just fine without having to resort in eating cottage cheese or Greek yogurt.
I enjoy regular flavoured yogurt however and have it nightly with fruit. Source, Astro and Silhouette are all 35 cals each, 3g protein and only 3g sugar.0 -
its the BEST ever i have one everyday!!!0
