Hi!
I have used my fitness pal before on my phone, but never logged on the website, I have been missing out on all the other awesome aspects of this site. After my old phone locked me out last december, I had to get a new one and just today added the application back. I have always struggled with my weight. Two years ago, during my senior year of undergraduate school, I lost about 22 pounds (Highest weight 172 and dropped to 150 at the lowest). I then immediately went into an 11-month masters and credential program and gained the majority back. As of weighing myself yesterday I am 166.4 pounds. Oh and I'm 5'3". I have always been curvaceous, and I don't expect that to change, nor would I want it to! I just want to be at a healthy weight and feel in shape and toned!
I am an elementary school teacher who is working 3 jobs (couldn't get a full time teaching position this school year so I am working hard in hopes of getting one this coming year) and go to a community college at night to defer my student loans. I am a busy gal, and it is hard to find time to prep healthful foods and get my butt in motion and to the gym. I work all morning/early afternoon and go to school at night and I usually have a couple of hours of downtime in between. It isn't enough time to legitimize heading all the way home and back with gas prices the way they are! So I solved my problem, I got a gym membership at LA Fitness which is close to where I work (and I got a discount through my school district... YAY!)
I just went to Costco today and restocked my fridge with healthful foods. So that being said, I am looking forward to healthy eating, exercising, and getting fit! I am looking forward to hearing about your journey and your success story!
Ps... sorry for blabbing so much! haha

Take it one choice at a time- one meal at a time, one day at a time!

Love you sis!0 -
Yes, you do sound very busy... Keep focused and take it one day at a time. I run an home health company with over 1000 employes, I'm a proud daddy to a 6yo and 4yo that make me run to (coach) baseball practice and games during the week...lol. I really try to eat well and squeeze in as much exercise as I can. It has been a challenge but also a pleasant experience utilizing this site to make friends who can relate to what you are experiencing. Feel free to add me as a friend :happy:0
