I alternate between Pilates and Yoga which I started a number of years ago after an unexpected sciatica issue. Flexibility in body and mind is important!

Is anyone following Adriene's January 2023 CENTER program? I had a knee issue last week so I'm just getting started. I've been trying to get in 10-15 min daily yoga sessions (yoga with Kassandra) the past year. I forgot how good a little longer session does feel -- even if I'm a little shaky with my balance on some of the…

Starting over - recommitting, but not giving up!

I've never heard of Buc-ee's. It's been months since I've traveled south (from MN here). Are they like "Corn Nuts"?

Love these suggestions! Thanks.

Way to go! Great commitment and results! All those things we "say to ourselves" - another one, "it's only five pounds" and yet, if it's a gain it's a slippery slope!

Also original two shoots and first booster and over 50. I've also been following Dr. John Campbell from the UK and will wait. I did have unexplained extensive bruising on my foot about 5-6 weeks ago and after doing more reading on trying to find a cause -- yea, I'm waiting on the second booster.

I will also, most likely wear a mask in crowded places during cold and flu season. I also now keep more than one four- pack of toilet paper on hand.

Will check out Travis Elliot, thanks!

I am continuing with daily a.m. yoga, even if some sessions are short and sweet! I also like yoga with Kassandra since she has a number of 10-15 min sessions that work when combined with Fitness Blender or walking workouts.

I did Day 27 today and it was a definite workout! Feels good to get through them  I have a few Leslie Sansone dvd's for the winter that I rotate through. Helps me get my steps in for the day.

ridiculous59 Please share your granola recipe!

I made it through days 19 and 20 this a.m. I'm really liking it this year. Frequent abs focus, etc. Feels good!

Finished Day 14 today and it felt good. Day 13 was definitely challenging for me. Either that or because I did it at the end of the day vs the beginning which is my normal time?!

Your smile says it all! Great work!

Finished Day 7 today. Felt great!

Completed day 5 today. Liking it so far!

Yes, I just printed the calendar today and noticed the shorter sessions. Maybe I get in an extra one or two on the weekends and keep up. Good luck, everyone!

I did just start Adriene's Move program this morning. However, I'm not the best one to keep you on track. It might take me 50+ days to complete this program. I don't always have 30 min in the morning to devote to yoga but I've done her Jan challenge the last few years and really enjoy them. During the days when I have to…

Had my booster yesterday at a clinic through my GP's office in central MN. Different exp than my first two shots which were in a small, rural hospital. Was well organized. Wasn't expecting the question of "which vaccine do you want". Had the option for either J&J, Moderna or Pfizer. Went with Pfizer since that was the same…

Made my booster appointment for after Thanksgiving also. I had Pfizer for the first two and only reaction was sore arm and extreme fatigue. I neglected to ask what the booster will be but will settle for either Pfizer or Moderna. Will reschedule if it's J&J.

After catching up on the latest updates, I think that I will schedule my flu shot and wait to get #3 Pizer. Initially I had planned to get both at the same visit. I had mild reactions after Pizer 1 & 2. Extremely tired after #1. By the time I drove home from getting the shot, I almost nodded off at a stop light. By supper…

Truly amazing! My hips are groaning just looking at the yoga poses!

Just found this thread. Thanks for sharing your/your BL's journey. Way to go for both of you! It does sound like the training wheels are coming off for him as he's been learning from you! My husband is low-carb and has had success with that. My stomach didn't appreciate that program after 6-9 months and I'm eating more…
