I'm in the suburbs of Dayton!! Go OSU!

LMAO at the last part of your post. Peace out, boss man!!

For colds, yes, I do. I like to sweat that virus out. If I have a cough, I find my coughing generally stops while running, but I pay for it when I'm done because I'll cough for a good 15 minutes. I do think it helps me recover faster when I exercise. If I had the flu or something, then heck no!

Each time I have been pregnant, I have been in the "Obese" category. I am very lucky that I am a healthy "obese" person, even while pregnant. I have no problems with BP, my cholesterol is fabulous, all my bloodwork is always excellent. Even birth goes very easily for me. The nurses actually told me this last time that I am…

I am at almost 40 lbs (-38.2 lost to be exact.) It has taken me just a tad over 3 months. I am hoping to be down by 40 next week.

SInce your daughter is so young and depends exclusively on breastmilk, I would go with the 500. If you look in the food database, type in Breastfeeding and it will bring up an entry with negative calories to put in your diary. SInce your babe is so new, you want to make sure you get plenty of cals to not affect your milk…

Bump. I did end up losing .6 lbs this week, but still need to tweak to some things.

That's what is throwing me off. I had originally calculated my BMR and TDEE before having that body fat analysis done on this special scale. The print out from that is what told me my BMR is 1624 based on my body fat percentage according to the scale. They then had you multiply this by a factor to get TDEE. Since then…

Height- 5'7", almost 5'8". Current weight is 245, goal weight is 150. A typical running week lately is 4.5-5 miles 2 days a week, 1 or 2 days of cross-training, and then a long run, which increases by about a mile each week. I try to get my strength training in, but have been failing at that lately. I have binged so many…

I have not been eating the calories back...at least not all of them. I did this Body Fat measurement at work using some Bio-Impedance scale. It has sensors in the feet and these things you hold in your hand. It came back that I was 49% BF, and that my TDEE was only 2500 or around there, and that my BMR was 1620 or…

I don't see why you are giving this lady a hard time. I'm overweight, and I can perfectly picture the fatass, rude customers she is describing. Maybe you have never met one...you would know it if you did, and you would think the same, whether you were overweight or not.

RIght now I'm training for a half marathon in Spetember, so this last week was 4.5 miles on Tuesday and Thursday, with a 9.5 mile run on Sunday. I did cross training for 2 days (wednesday and Saturday) and weights one of the days. Once my half is over, I'm thinking about how i want to structure my running schedule to…

You've done an amazing job, and you should be proud of all your hard work!! Way to go!!

I ran 8 miles!

Instead of going to see a therapist (which may help), you should find a new nutritionist.

What are those bands, and what are they used for?

I was actually thinking of these very things on my run the other day! I LOVE running in the rain, and i agree with a lot of the things others have posted, but one that is different for me that I love... the smell of people's clean laundry as I run through a neighborhood.
-
Have you been exercising at all? I was losing at a good rate like that, but once I resumed running and started weight lifting, it is coming off at a much slower pace. Good job so far?
-
You look amazing!! Great job on all the hard work!! :)
-
What an amazing story! I admire your strength to push through such difficulties to achieve your goals. You have so much to be proud of!!!
-
Congrats on all the hard work!!! Amazing transformation.

I won't feel better about anything I read for the last hour until you actually confront this a**hole about the way he treats your children, and tell us you have a plan for what YOU are going to do to help these innocent kids. You don't seem very concerned with everyone else's concerns for them...only for salvaging your…

My NSV was on Tuesday. I just started with eating healthier and getting back into running on June 3. I am training for a half marathon in September. Well, on Tuesday, I went out for my run even though it was raining. SOme lady told me from across the street "You won't be so fanatical once winter comes". Hmmm...I took it as…

My plan is to progress to Stronglifts 5x5 after completing the Jamie Eason program.
-
Measurements it is! If I keep lifting, and keep running (because I like it!), AND keep in deficit, the scale has to move at some point, right??!! I mean, I have over 100 lbs to lose! I think I have decided on the Jamie Eason program. I have most of the equipment for that at home, except for the leg press days, etc. I do…

This was going to be my question, too. I need to lose about 130 pounds (that's my goal!), but I am currently training for a half marathon in September. I *want* to start lifting, but I'm terrified of the scale not moving. Ack...just to get over the mental part of it. I have a lot fo free weights at home, and a barbell…

Bumping to save for later when I need extra motivation!

Very inspiring! How long did it take you?

I am curious what side effects you were having being on low carb? We are going to Disney at the end of December, and I already plan to cheat. When I first started, I used to ahve one cheat day a week and lost weight just fine. However, one day that cheat ay led to 6 cheat weeks. Once I got back on it, which was recently, I…

Great job!! 100 pounds in 7 months is impressive! What worked??
