Ramping up runs but eating is out.of.control
I'm training for a half marathon in September. My runs have gotten longer recently, and the last week and a half, I can't.stop.eating. I feel ravenously hungry. Last week, i chalked it up to being TOM, and expected the hunger to stop by the weekend. However, I have binged recently, and I am finding it hard to get it back…

What does your running schedule look like, including mileage? I'm just curious how to work up to this. I'm currently at around 17-20 miles. TIA!

What is a reasonable rate for a personal trainer?
Per hour? A trainer approached me at the gym at work and told me my form was wrong on my squats. I ended up getting her card. She has a B.S. in Exercise Science as well as some ACSM Health and Fitness Specialist. I am currently training for a half marathon, and I am following a training plan for that. However, I did want…

Few questions from a newb to SL
Hi everyone. After reading so many raves on MFP about SL, I decided to give it a try. I will be on my 3rd workout tomorrow, so A again. First, I am so freaking sore today! I had a sub from Jimmy John's on Friday night (bread) and potato chips. I was still within my calories for this day. Well, then…

CarbQuik
Hi! Has anyone else on here used the CarbQuik baking mix? You can make pancakes, biscuits, pizza crust, etc. I have tried it, and it's so delicious that I feel like I'm cheating. It's 2 net carbs per biscuit, pancake, etc, depending on what you make.

Can you help me figure this out?
Ok, so here's the deal: MFP Calorie goal: 1590 per day (this is to lose 2lbs./week) TDEE: 3233 (when I say I exercise 3-5 days a week) TDEE: 2503 (when I put in little or no exercise, since I have a desk job) BMR: 2086 Throw in there that i'm nursing my 7 month old as well (I nurse her around 4 to 6 times a day). My net…

Opinions please- r.e. not weighing for a month
Hi everyone. I'm new on MFP, but not to this weight loss game. I have a 7 month old baby that I am nursing, although she eats solids as well. I just started back on a diet and exercise regimen, and although I weighed in to get a beginning weight, I am considering not weighing myself for a month to see how much progress I…
