  • You don't change unless it hurts bad enough to. So now you have to decide how to live your life and then be willing to deal with the consequences that come from someone who has addictions. My best to you and your dilema. If he doesn't recognize he has a problem then he won't change until he does.
  • Out of the mouths of babes  thanx for sharing. Keep up the good work!!:flowerforyou: :flowerforyou:
  • Congrats on your loss:smile: You are indeed a beautiful woman. I imagine you are as beautiful on the inside as you are the outside. I have 100 pounds to go myself. The work is difficult but so worth it. Physical and mental health is so important and I just want to be as healthy as I can inside and out. My best to you and…

  • Carbs have always, always been my weakness. I love breads, rice, crackers, chips, potato's etc. I still struggle with them today but find that if I don't buy the little extras like chips, crackers, etc then I do better. I buy a healthy grain bread or pita, long grain brown rice and just do my best to stay within proper…

  • You know. . . I eat when I am happy, eat when I am sad, eat when I am depressed and eat just because it is there. It has been a real eye opener to me when logging to actually see the OMG's when entering in foods I used to eat as to what I eat now. I don't know if you are like me, but I have friends who when being social,…

  • I totally agree with you all. . .food is not necessarily evil, that was not my intent. Guess it just came out wrong. I believe in mini treats and little indulgences. Moderation in all things? absolutely! We need food to live, to fuel our bodies, I agree 100% with that. I think I am just trying to get out of the thinking…

  • Helps keep you in the bathroom a lot too. Wooohooo!!! I also drink a ton of water and make sure that I take a toothbrush and toothpaste to the office with me as well. I have learned that when you are tempted, really tempted to eat, then brush your teeth with toothpaste and wait 10-15 min. If you do this, 9 times out of 10…

  • First off, I think we have ALL been there, life happens and there are going to be set backs. We all beat ourselves up and you know what? Don't!!! Simply pick yourself up, put on a smile and continue on from where you are at. When you feel like snacking, drink a full glass of water or brush your teeth, two proven ways to…
  • Roz, if you have to snack get something that is healthy and LOW in calories. My favorite snack food right now are fresh cherries and sweet peas. The peas are crunchy and sweet and the cherries well they are just little nuggets from heaven. String Cheese or a handful of nuts is god as well as protein last longer and your…
  • Both are great choices for protein. . . just eat them in moderation and you should be fine. Dont cut them out if you enjoy them.
