I started out at 318 pounds. I lost 178 pounds but have gained about 40 Pounds back. I'm working on getting back down to my Goal Weight this year.

Be sure your Workouts include building up your Chest Muscles? Seems like that might be beneficial. But, truthfully as you continue to get more Fit, you will be proportionate, and all the Benefits Of THE Crossfit Strength Training will far Out Weigh losing a few Bob Inches. The Inches that remain will look FAN-DAM-TABULOUS!!

Welcome, and Good Luck on your journeys!! Tracking your food and getting active are your Keys to Success! And don't expect to be "Perfect" You Will mess up. But when you do, learn from it and move on immediately. There is no time for Guilt Trips or calling yourself Bad Names.

You can definitely do this!! Try not to think of it as a "Diet". It really IS learning a New Lifestyle and teaching yourself a New Way to deal with Stress, or whatever your "Trigger" Situation or Emotion is.

I use the Fitness Tracker on SparkPeople.com and just put their numbers on MFP. LIVESTRONG.com also has a Calorie Calculator, I believe, but I am not as familiar with it.

:drinker: Found a Barbell with Four 10 Pound Weights on it at Goodwill for $15. I carried it from the back of the Store to the cash register at the front, paid, and carried it out to the car (which was parked at the FAR Outside Edge of the Parking Lot!) without ANY Assistance!!

When I started out, the only real Walking I could do was at Wal-Mart using a Grocery Cart like a Walker. It was not "Fast" at all. But it WAS Consistent. Between YouTube Videos and Leslie Sansone DVDs there is No Excuse for not Walking regardless of the Weather. It only takes a small area and you can bump up the intensity with small hand held weights, or even carrying Soup Cans and using them for Resistance.

Spending quality time with the Kids at Church is Worth a few Extra Long, Extra Hard Workouts at the Gym. Same with the time with your Grandparents. Maybe you could take some Fresh Veggies or Fruit with you when you visit them on Saturdays? It is never Too Late to create New Traditions with our Social/Family Activities.
