Did You Work Out At Curves Today?
Yes, I did the CurvesSmart Work-Out, then continued Walking on the Recovery Boards for another 20 minutes. Burned 374 Calories, and walked 2.55 mile. Is anyone else doing CurvesSmart?

Not sure if anyone has posted about this already? My husband and I are signed up to WALK the 5K at the OKC Memorial Marathon. Is any one else planning to be there? We could meet under the Survivor Tree.

Welcome!!
I have searched without success for a Group of Ladies who go to Curves, and track their Journeys with MFP. Since I couldn't find one, I decided to create my own. I am looking forward to getting to know many MFP-Curves Ladies.

Changes Coming to Curves January 1
There are a lot of changes happening with Curves, most of them due to take effect January 1. As I understand it the focus will be more on Nutrition, Supplements, and making the Clubs all look alike. Can anyone explain the Changes more clearly? Do you know more details about the Changes? Will the Membership Fees go up? Are…

What is your favorite Machine at Curves?
We all have a favorite machine at Curves, I think. What is your Favorite, and Why do you Love it? It is hard for me to pick One Favorite but if I had to it would be the one that most people Hate. The Squat Machine. It is horrible, but on the other hand, it Does work more of your body at one time than any of the others.…

Counting "Steps" On The Bike
I am sure that this question has been addressed before, but I can't seem to find it. I have been trying to reach at least 10,000 steps every day and succeeding most of the time. I recently decided to add a Bike ride 3 times a week to my schedule. However that makes getting 10,000 steps in every day a real problem,…

This has done wonders for my weight loss and my knee and back pain is almost gone. I don't even feel like the same woman I was just a few months ago. Lately however, the trainer at…

Curves And MFP = Success
 Today was my regular weigh in at Curves. I have been there since March 28 of this year. I didn't have very high hopes of losing weight when I joined because nothing had ever worked before, including a VERY brief membership at Curves 8 years ago. But I was desperate, and I couldn't think of any other options and I…

Kitty Litter As A Weight Loss Tool?
I have been walking at Target and Wal-Mart for several weeks because it is way too hot for me to walk outside. I just get a basket and walk briskly for 30-45 minutes. Sometimes you have to stop or slow down briefly because of actual customers who are SHOPPING!!! :noway: But all in all, considering I wouldn't walk at all if…

Doing It The Hard Way
I recently came across this site and decided to try it. Maybe the extra support and encouragement will help me to continue on this journey. Losing weight the healthy way--diet and exercise--is definately NOT for sissys. But I don't believe there is a true "Quick and easy fix" for losing weight and gaining your health.
