  • Thanks, yeah my HRM is just a few months old, Polar. It's a good hrm I think! I figured I would just go by the calories my HRM showsI burned instead.. But I was a little confused as to the wide difference in numbers!
  • mmm bacon. And ty!!! I literally laughed out loud on morning *kitten*.
  • There are a lot of thread on MFP where this post is absolutely applicable (although not particularly polite/in accordance w/ the CG (all hail))... ...however, I don't think this is one of them. OP seems willing to accept that there are things she needs to do...and there are plenty of respondents who have…
  • Congrats on your weight loss.
  • WHat on earth is your problem? I'm more than thankful for what I have read. I have stated already I will be purchasing a food scale and I need to eat less and add more protein. Chill out. I'm not asking anything of anyone. Im not looking for attention. I have been more than polite. Try it. [/quote] You aren't even worth…

  • Again I use a HRM not MFP. However I get the feeling my HRM must be over estimating too.. a bit discouraging but that's ok. I'll just keep doing what I am doing and just eat a bit better and I think I may see some results sooner rather than later.
  • I'm fully aware however it could be over estimating.. as much as that may make me feel like crap LOL. I feel like I surely put forth that much work... but of course it's more than possible I am wrong.
  • I do 60 minutes jogging, then I bike, then I use a stair master on my cardio days.. my HRM measures that at 900. I just started doing two classes a day. I do any mixture of Kick Boxing, Zumba, Boot Camp, Body Works, or Spinning... those days I don't do cardio and burn about 900. My days that I supposedly burned 1200, are…
  • LOL I love this.
  • I actually just joined this about 30 minutes ago! Can't wait to check it out.
  • I too lost 100 lbs while eating the occasional processed foods... I feel like you just need to make sure you continue to work out, stay on your goal.. and you will be alright. Processed foods are in no way healthy or good for you.. but every here and there people indulge and have had great success. I too found it hard to…
  • I have been on the other end, I know how it feels.. so I apologize.
  • I'm not sure that anyone has actually yelled at you. If anything just disagreed. We all do that.. it's a forum..Sorry if you felt attacked somehow.
  • I measure in dry/wet cups and measuring spoons for now. Seemed to work. But maybe I am just eating too much. It's more than I used to eat. But I also work out more so I just thought upping my calories wouldn't be bad.. Body is taking some time to adjust I gather.. I guess it's part of a weightloss journey.. seeing what…
  • I guess there is no way to really know what you are burning since everything is estimated. I just recently bought a Polar HRM and have all my stats set up. Maybe it way over estimates, maybe not. I guess I just have to make sure I eat well enough and just keep working out. Eventually I will see the results I used to get so…
  • I'm not arguing with anyone. I have already stated that I missed like two days this month. I measure, but I do need to buy myself a scale for my food.
  • I believe both are pretty important.. however in my understanding you could eat 1200 cals in twinkies and still lose weight.. not be healthy... but lose weight. For the record I wouldnt recommend a twinkie diet! Lol.
  • I can;t tell you how much I appreciate this post. If I was to come off nasty to anyone I do apologize, though I don;t think I did. Yes I do need to lose the next 35 ( ty kindly however ;) ) But I guess I was just looking for some tidbits and advice ( which I did get, and ty to all who have given it) Thank you again and…
  • You know, Im not being nasty or rude.. lol But thank you anyway. as for Gurney? Not sure I understand why you are even saying that. I have had plenty of success. I again and gain will state how I have already lost 100 lbs. I was a very big girl. I will gladly take advice ( which is why I posted) since I have reached a…
  • i went on Vacation to Florida ( first Adult VACAY ever).. and for th first time I really looked at myself.. saw myself in a mirror. I was smelling the beachy air.. feeling so wonderful.. and I thought to myself.. I'm done. I am done trapping myself in this body and depression. I am just done. Sometimes, it just clicks…
  • Alright guess I am done here too.. thanks everyone. Have a wonderful day.
  • I feel like I am not being listened to. It isn't a hypothetical.. this is HOW IT IS right now for me. Like I said I maybe have missed two days. I dont miss whole weeks.
  • "Add heavy compound lifts. They have made a HUGE difference for me. My weight hasn't changed a whole lot but man have I lost inches and I have never looked better. " Can you explain compound lifts? I used to be all cardio, lifting and weights are all new to me. New World lol.
  • I think I missed like 2 days this month. You are one who told me at 1500-1800 ( bad days) I eat too much.. If I eat on a bad day, 1800 calories.. spend 2 hrs at the gym, burn 1000.. that means I net 800. Is this accurate or am I missing something. Would this be healthy? I'm not trying out for any body building comps. I am…
  • I do appreciate all the input guys. Thanks again.. It's ugly to see what you have done wrong sometimes. It is what it is! :)
  • Yeah my friend keeps telling me to ditch the scale and just keep going, and base it on how my cothing feels. ( feels the same at 185 as it did at 170) lol. I Dont even look like I gained.. maybe in the legs a little but that could be muscle. I don't feel like I gained 15 so its like a slap in the face. The quitting feeling…
  • I think that's what I am worried about.. eating 2400 in a day, and I am being told I eat too much NOW.. so I'm confused haha. Sometimes I burn 700, sometimes 900, every now and again 1200. ( according to my HRM not MFP).. but according to MFP, I need to still eat those back and I can;t get over it. It's all in my hed I…
  • Well obviously I have been doing, hence the 100 lb weightloss LOL... it's just hard this time around that's all. I had a JawBone and I didn't like it... I got myself a HRM instead.. I wasn't into all the extra stuff. Everyone thinks I was crazy for returning it ( was an xmas gift) but It just wasn't for me.
  • I am just bck at it after a break. I have never done any work outs as intense as I am now. I know my body needs to adjust but Its just discouraging. I was once 280 lbs and I managed to lose 100 by myself without issue.. now It's just become a pain in my *kitten*... Just got to keep trying..
