See this is the things I need to educate myself on i guess. I've never ever in my life reached the point where I can say im at maintenance. It's exciting but seems too good to be true if i still have work to do on my body lol
-
Yes, that's a good idea. I estimate way too much.
-
Not sure why my reply got cut off... But I said my stats are 5'5, 150 lbs and a teacher /mom so I spend a good part of my day on my feet but I'm not overly active (not involved in sports or anything), I just do my workout daily
-
OK, thanks for taking the time out of your day to reply and help me, I appreciate it
-
And as for the 40 minute workouts, I wish I could find time for more but unfortunately my husband works away and I am essentially a "single", working mom. It's tough. :( I really want to just look and in turn feel better about myself
-
OK thanks for the advice! I don't take your comments as rude at all. Like I said above, I'm genuinely trying to educate myself. I guess I made the mistake of walking into supplement King and letting them tell me what to buy. The 3 pills you're seeing on my diary is the cellucor clk, I guess maybe I didn't log it properly…

Days previous to this week I wasn't committed to tracking all my food, I probably had takeout or way over ate and decided to stop tracking lol. Fail. And my fitbit also calculates my steps into calories burned and count as exercise. I do aim for 1200. Is 1200 ok for my weight loss goal?
-
5'5..150 lbs. Goal is to get to 135.
-
My profile picture? Heavens no lol.. Just motivation.
-
How so? Not being rude, genuinely trying to educate myself

So, how do I tone while losing weight. I don't have a ton of fat to lose. I'm 5'5, 150 lbs I'd like to get to 135. I do have body fat but would love to tone /firm up (had a baby a year ago).

When I was working a job like that, I did meal prep on Sundays and ate my supper at work around 5
-
Me please
-
@editorgrrl ok I just emailed able negative calorie adjustments. So at the end of the day am I aiming for zero? I'm looking to lose and not maintain. How do I disable my fitbit from syncing my step calories to my fitness pal?

This happens to me too!!! Im always on the chilly side, but after working out there is not enough clothes in my wardrobe to keep me warm!
-
Hi there Ill start off by saying it DOES get easier, trust me. Im not sure if you are saying that you cant reach 1200 or if you mean you always go over. Either way, you need to eat at least 1200. Its unhealthy to eat any less (from what I gather from research, other posts, etc). I personally had trouble eating only 1200…
-
Nah, my boyfriend is in the same boat as me. Both trying to get healthier and lose some weight. Having said that, we are sometimes a bad influence on each other in terms of what we eat, but we are both in the same place now so its not so bad. Maybe you can ask your boyfriend to start working out with you and join MFP, then…
-
Bump.... because i'd like to know too :)
-
Welcome! Add me if you like, always looking to give/receive motivation!
-
But doesn't MFP generate your daily intake BASED on your goals that you enter? I entered that my goal is to lose 1 lb/per week and it says that based on that, I need to eat 1460 cals per day. If she is saying that MFP said she needs to eat 1760 to lose 1lb/week, why does she need to recalculate and eat 1260? Im confused…

Im from Newfoundland :)

Yum! I've never tried cottage cheese. Sounds good though.
-
Ask him to make some low cal dinners instead :) Since he's a chef and all, I'm sure he can whip up something amazing thats low in fat!
-
Just set your activity level to lightly active. Im a teacher; on my feet all day and steady walking back and forth the hallways in a rush. But I don't count it as burning calories. Maybe some people count it, but I dont.
-
What is your job? I am a teacher and am on my feet most of the day. I teach music so I do spend some time teaching sitting down on my piano bench as the students sit around me on the floor, and I set my activity level to lightly active! I think sedentary is mostly for office jobs, students, people who basically sit all day…

I didn't have a clue what they were - then after google, I realized I do these all the time! Yay, Im in :) Now I know what to log them as - thanks!

Love to hoop!! <3 Really tones you up. Last summer I hooped pretty much every day, and went to hoop classes for an hour, probably 2-3 times a week. What a workout :)
