I didn't have ice cream cake at lunch for a co-worker's birthday. I got up and walked around the office instead of drinking a Pepsi when I was tired at my desk I have logged everything for the last three days; even when I went over.

I'm glad I found your thread. Yesterday I ate over 20 Halloween mini bars. Today, I had an apple instead. One day at a time.

When I watch Netflix I'm suddenly hungry and make bad food choices. So I limit my screen time and drink flavoured water. Keeping my mind busy is my way of not snacking after supper.

I will not eat a candy bar from the junk drawer at work. I will choose my snap peas or water.

I only ate two Girl Guide cookies. Normally I would eat six, seven or a whole box if given the chance.

The man who invented the Keurig has regrets because of all the waste his invention created. http://www.businessinsider.com/k-cup-inventor-john-sylvans-regret-2015-3. John Sylvan doesn't even own one because they are expensive as well...

I want to become my best self and that isn't necessarily my skinniest self. Eating a variety of whole foods and allowing myself treats so that I'm physically and mentally in my prime.

I became aware of how little fruit and vegetables I was eating, even though I was staying under calories. I feel better when I increase whole foods intake instead of eating Wheat Thins or a Nutrigrain bar.

To keep making progress: 1. Log food everyday 2. Choose veg/fruit over treats when hungry 3. Exercise 30 mins/ three times a week Slow and steady is my aim.

I used to reward myself with food - always. Now, I choose non-food, inexpensive items I have wanted but don't need. 1. new bottle of nail polish 2. new casual hat (baseball) 3. Candle from favourite bookstore 4. Two hours watching a mini series or Netflix 5. Browse at Used Book store and buy a book 6. Gel pens in eight…

YES! I thought I had been cured after two years of extensive treatment, but what really happened is that I had my mental illness under control and I was maintaining it.

For breakfast I eat cream of wheat. Sometimes I add frozen fruit and sometimes I add some honey. I boil two eggs and mash them on toast or eat plain. Another breakfast I like it plain yogurt with granola and or frozen fruit. There is natural sugar in the fruit & honey but it is a lot less than cold cereals from the store.

I had my MFP goals set to lose 40lbs total and 1lb a week. I went over my calories every day. I was discouraged and felt like a failure. Then last week I changed goals and decided to lose 0.5lb a week. I haven't gone over my calories and I feel full each day. A suggestion would be to set an easy, achievable goal; an idea…

Does using a Diva Cup help with cramps? I found that using pads over tampons at the beginning of my period significantly decreased my cramps. Has anyone noticed this?

The shorts that were tight two weeks ago feel looser around my waist.

I just ate Hersey Kisses for breakfast so I know the struggle. I crave sugar when I'm hungry, so I eat something healthy first. I treat granola bars like a candy bar because of the sugar content. Buy chocolate dipped granola bars to see if that helps. I also freeze blueberries and mangoes. The cold makes them sweeter for…

I accept the challenge. I should be 154lbs by February 20th

Walking 30 minutes a day. If I can walk or take my bike over driving I do it. I like how I feel after exercising. Exercise doesn't have to be killer workouts. Walking 30 minutes is better than nothing. And that adds up over the weeks and months.

Thank for the advice. I am working on eating fruit instead of baking. Last night around 10pm I was craving candy or ice cream but I ate a banana instead. It will be a conscious effort but if I look at it 1 day at a time, I won't feel deprived.

I need to clarify, I eat a lot more calories in sugar than I realized. I find myself eating 200-400 calories/day in sugar. What I'm wondering is how people are able to resist the treats or can they slowly replace healthy snacks over ice cream or chocolate bars.

This past week I have been under my calorie goal by supper so I press the finish button. Then around 11pm I start snacking and eat another 300-400 calories. 5 days in a row of cheating every night.

Thank you for the advice. I didn't know eating citrus foods helped with iron absorption.

Hello, I have the same goal. 140lbs, about 5lbs a month. I'm 36 and 5'5". Let's motivate each other.

Asolo or Salomon boots are excellent boots. I prefer Asolo.

1 day at a time. Today you can make better food choices. Tomorrow and next week isn't even on the radar. Just think of today. Also, you have conditioned yourself to think negatively. Therefore, a new challenge is to tell yourself, "I WILL SUCCEED." Even if you don't believe it, keep telling yourself you can & will be…

Nail polish, something at the bookstore I have denied myself, a movie or TV series I have wanted, expensive mascara. I'm not an impulse buyer so there are always inexpensive things I want but don't need. I'm working towards a goal weight so I can justify a $28 candle at a gift shop.

I recorded everything I ate, even when I went over my calories. If I couldn't be honest online I was never going to see change.

Congratulations, I struggle with that too.
