Did you look at her profile pic?? CLEARLY those muscles came in naturally without any lifting... she definitely does "NOT" lift. :noway:

Will you be doing another round of interested applicants anytime soon? If so, I would love to be a part of it. Thanks for your time :).

Some have been mentioned: * Bolthouse Farms Yogurt Dressings - loooooove the Ranch and Honey Mustard ones! Also recently discovered there's a Thousand Island one as well, curious as to how that one does on some lean ground meat. * Walden Farms - ONLY the pancake syrup seems to be universally tasty to most, but the BBQ…

I am gonna have to agree with knittermom and ang108... I took a look at your diary and I am seeing a lot of fast food and pre-prepared foods on there. If there's one thing I've learned on my journey, it's that we have to teach ourselves to eat in a different manner. And part of that is learning what foods will satiate us…

Hi there! Just to clarify the myth of lifting heavy making you "huge" --- lifting heavy does NOT make you huge. What it does do is help to build your muscle so that it looks better and helps to burn fat more. I am a female that lifts heavy and I look like any other chick out there, my muscles only look bigger and defined…

I've eaten them plain and I did try them in smoothies a few different times. I have to say, I prefer them plain. They didn't seem to do much for my smoothies. Enjoy them! They are yummy!

Great story! So happy for you and all you've accomplished :). Keep up the great work!

Hi there! I love people who motivate and I looooove to motivate back :). I'm a reasonable eater w/a cheat MEAL usually once a week. You may want to redo your numbers to figure out what your body needs and, as soysauce^ mentioned, definitely pay attention to those macros! They make a HUGE difference in your success. I…

BAHAHAHAHAH!!!!!!!     YOU are AWESOME!!!!!!! I applaud you so much right now lol. Damn, this thread made me realize I have NO recent pics of myself in street clothes. Well I guess I know what I'm asking my officemate to do for me when I get in tomorrow! Hahahahah. Hooray for heavy…

Awesome success! Congratulations!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Enjoy the fruits of your labor

You need the lower body strength training to help prevent injuries. And, as I'm sure others have already mentioned, you do need the rest days in between! If you keep working your muscles without rest days, then your muscles will not be getting the time it needs to repair itself. And as another said above, try increasing…

Although I'm not the OP, all this info is very useful to me as I am beginning half training in a week and cannot bare the idea of giving up my lifting. Thanks for all the input from previous posters!

I'm gonna go ahead and chime in on this because I've had 3 different levels of cheating... For the first few months of my journey, I was scared ****less to cheat, so I did it only once every 2 weeks. Yes, I lost weight at a steady pace (2 lbs per week), but it began to taper off the closer I got to my goal. My exercise…

I'm pro mirrors. In the beginning I didn't like what I saw, but, like what another poster said -- the absence of mirrors don't change the way you actually look. I remember reading a study (can't recall the source) about women who looked at themselves more often in the mirror had a more positive understanding and perception…

This is kind of what I was thinking about, I've just had no experience with these kinds of bottoms and figured I'd ask about if anyone's had any luck with them. I do have hips where I do not have a muffin top, but it is still chubby enough to get that dent in the hips even with tie string bottoms -- at least that's how it…

I used to hate those for some when I was bigger, but sounds like I need to give them a try again!
-
Oh I know, realized that after the fact lol
-
The common sense response I was referring to was the "go up in size."
-
I tried searching for it before posting mine and didn't have any luck... ??? That'd be great if you could find it and link me!
-
It's okay, I totally get it... it definitely exists with some people on here lol.

Okay maybe I didn't explain myself well. Basically, I'm a size 4 now and wear size small underwear (American sizing) and I've always gotten size large in swimsuit bottoms because I deeeeeeply do not like the dig-in I see in my hips -- I just put on my old size large and it STILL does it. The problem with going even bigger…

If you read her post, she basically says that it's not a horrible feeling, but that her stomach is having an adjustment period. So the question of "WHY do it then" seems rather unnecessary especially when the question she IS asking is what can help it when it does happen. You have to know that most people here can't just…

I am ridiculously active on the mobile app. Feel free to add :).

That's great news! I'm happy to hear that for you; I bet it feels really good after not seeing the move for a while! Just a lil update on how I went about this after I originally posted this: I found IPOARM, did a metabolism reset by eating at TDEE for a week, gained 5 lbs, then went down -20%, lost those 5 lbs after one…

I'm right around where ^you are! I started at 145, goaled myself for 130, reached it, goaled for 5 more, about right there (body is adjusting to a calorie increase), and now I'm going more for body composition and body fat percentage as well. I'm 5'3" and for me to be at 21% BF, I should weigh 118 so you might wanna keep…

DAMN! Wish I'd seen this earlier, I only did 30 today!

I eat back the majority of my calories burned (through protein, greens, and good fats) because it's already a pretty low calorie intake and I fear for muscle depletion! This explains it pretty well: http://www.myfitnesspal.com/topics/show/818082-exercise-calories-again-wtf

Omg this is amazing to read! And EXTREMELY encouraging. Thank you so much for sharing!

I'm glad to read that 2 weeks really isn't all that long enough to adjust. I just had to ask to make sure I was just freaking out haha. Its a good thing I took measurements right before my increase!
