oh i know that, a pound of something is the same as a pound of anything else. Just stated wrong. So muscle is denser than fat. I just find it so frustrating that people always seem to say that i put on muscle. I still have enough weight to lose that I just think my body should still be burning more fat. Gaining weight when…

i have never heard of it, but i will tell you that a natural supplement that helps all these things is Vitamin B 100 Complex. There are lots of different types of vitamin B that you get in all sorts of foods and they all do different things for you, to get the best of all worlds take the 100 complex as it has a little of…

i have started to question my own obsession with my body image as well and wonder if it is turning into an eating disorder that just isn't as obvious as the regular disorders. I feel immense amounts of guilt when i eat something even slightly of the path i have been working on, and trust me I have had no crazy cheat days…

I eat very healthy, lots of veggies and fruit. I do eat some cheese. Some nuts (usually walnuts on a salad) a granola bar here and there. chicken and i…

i know exactly what you mean, I have just hit the 50 lb mark as well, with my original goal being 60 lbs i never really thought that i could do it. Now that it is in reach i know that my actual goal is much farther and i find that terrifying. The pressure goes up to continue, to not falter, to keep this weight off and…

i have to go for drinks tonight too, i have tried to think of a way out but i am the maid of honour and this is the stagette. I am letting go to it and saying it will be fun, I haven't aloud myself a drinking night in 3 months. So to make up for it today I am choosing low calorie foods (but rich in nutrients) and i went…

cardio is good to do everyday (well i believe you should take one day of rest each week) and also is good to do longer cardio stints. weight training- if you do your whole body you should take one days rest in between sessions. OR I do mon- arms tues- legs wed- arms thurs- legs and friday is just cardio (of course with…

http://www.myfitnesspal.com/topics/show/61850-vegitarian-taco-salad these are two of my faves. I am addicted to crazy salads, I pretty much use cabbage instead of lettuce or spinach and that adds some crunch (which is what i love) examples of things i put in salads: various veggies but i love snap peas and green or red…

oh and as far as working out goes you should change your workout about every 30 days to avoid your muscles getting used to an exercise. and working out should always be hard, so when something is easy or very doable you have to kick it up a notch to make that difference. otherwise all you are doing is maintaining.

so you already know you go over your calories. its just simple to say don't do that. eat less. but i noticed that you have virtually no vegetables on your diary. add some. carrots are very filling and so is brocolli. i like cabbage for salads, red and green peppers, snap peas. try lean meats (instead of ground beef and…

I read the South beach diet and definately take a lot of ideas from it. I keep my carbs low, but especially focus on whole grains (no white sugar or flour) I eat a lot of veggies and fruit. I don't eat red meat right now, but I eat chicken, eggs, fish and nuts as well as beans. Doing the induction kicks your body into a…

i do a pizza on a whole grain pita. low cal cheese lots of veggies. or search a recipe for sweet potatoe pizza crust (it was on the show you are what you eat) its a little more work but it is delicious.

i do tuna with apples chopped up and mayo and I think its delish. melting with cheese is so good to. only problem is mayo+cheese+bread starts to add up to a high cal meal. maybe try a tuna steak, you can just sear it or cook it all the way and its pretty good.

it is, its just the separated oil, next time don't pour it out just stir it and it will mix back in.

thanks! I know that butter is not bad for you in small quantities, but I am watching my calories and it packs a high punch in that area that's for sure.
-
these are awesome, have you tried them all? which is your favorite? do you know any of the calorie contents? and do you know if there is an alternative to using butter?

i have made changing my body my number one priority right now and I never want to do anything that hinders or back tracks my progress. SO I am totally honest and part of that is logging my food and exercise every day. I log around lunch everyday to see where I am sitting and what my dinner should be. And I log every time I…

to do it like a sorbet try mixing in a little vanilla extract and cinnamon. Just a little water to help blend. This with just about any fruit i have tried has worked out delicious. And those two ingredients don't add any calories.

try and go with something with more vegetables. minimize the sauce if you can, or go less sweet (so not teryaki or sweet and sour) don't eat the rice-if you do don't eat more than a cups worth. stick to chicken or fish (rather than steak) don't add pop or alcohol-stick to water ;) and tempura is deep fried-not good at all.

you can also make nachos in much the same way using whole grain pita bread and cut it into chips and toast it until crispy. You can add to the chips but lightly dusting them with olive oil and seasoning of your choice (i like garlic powder) and then baking them. then i make my nachos with those chips, veggie ground round,…

do you mean that you are awake unusual hours or that you are not sleeping a lot? It is important to get enough sleep when you are trying to lose weight (and even just for your health)

I have been on a goal of 60 pounds in 6 months of which so far I have lost 36 and it will be four months in 1 1/2 weeks. So far I am right on track. I won't lie and say it flew by but the first 30 days were definitely the longest. I bought the biggest loser 30 day kick start book and I loved it. It really helped explain…
