vegitarian taco salad
1/2 cup veggie ground round
1/2 whole grain pita (toasted and crumbled into the salad)
a little monterey jack cheese
cabbage
vegetables to taste (i used snap peas, broccoli and orange peppers)
2 tsp of pad thai sauce.
just chop and mix together and eat!
I think this is absolutely delicious and its around 365 calories. You could cut it down with no cheese if you like.

you can also make nachos in much the same way using whole grain pita bread and cut it into chips and toast it until crispy.
You can add to the chips but lightly dusting them with olive oil and seasoning of your choice (i like garlic powder) and then baking them.
then i make my nachos with those chips, veggie ground round, a little cheese and green peppers and cabbage.0 -
sounds awesome! I'll try it0
