Well thank god I am not the only one! I have been at the gym every day mostly and wine normally fits into my cal allocation. I live in New Zealand and our wine is amazing so it would be un patriotic not to indulge on occasion I figure.

My daily intake is 1500 and I reckon I dont burn as much as the machines say so only eat some back. Yup ryvita and hummus is a regular snack for me. I get hungrier all day tho!

Fair enough, is 1500 what MFP gives ya? This is my 2nd day back using MFP. I am only eating 1500 calories a day and not exercising for the first month. I want to establish good healthy eating habits and a pattern before I start trying to exercise and then get overwhelmed with all the changes and quit. One day at a time.…

Thanks for the input. I had a a couple of weeks there where I made some pretty bad food choices but I generally cook at home. I had tried the higher calorie thing to experiment with my body as eating 1200 cals before had not worked for me at all. I have not been logging all of my veges whilst on the higher calorie kick but…

Thanks all I just cant figure out where I should set my cals too now. I burn around 300 cals per workout so not heaps. I go by what the machine says then assume around 100 cals for strength training.

Been counting the many glasses... but like I said my cals have been around 1900 I just am starting to think its too many

I have been eating this way for a month and gained 2 kg..... I felt like giving up too but am going to give it another month to see if its just my body adapting.... I have lost no inches and feel bigger than ever! But....... hang in there according to all accounts this can take a while..
