Exactly. Not for him, but for her. I would really advise on restarting her life by herself, and loose that weight, for HER, mostly for her health and self esteem (and her daughter too).

What do you mean 5 days a week? I thought you had to give a day or rest after strength training, not doing it daily. Curious because I do it every 2 days because of that.

It's understandable to feel wrong because you know your are following the dangerous path of stop working out at all, which is a big hit in progress. But really, you can always take a rest for a few days or even a week every now and then more if you don' over eat, don't feel bad, if you are sure you will be back on track…
