I appreciate the spanx comment, but it's more of matter of it zipping :( I think 2" should do it. But I'll likely be wearing spanx too. It's just not a flattering style, and I've put off doing something about it.

perhaps the answer is buying more weights? I'll look into those bodyweight programs, thanks for the those. I just need something other than running, because that's not getting me to my goal (neither is not logging consistently)

Honestly, no. If you are hurting to the point of tears you should get it looked at to ensure you aren't doing long term damage. Take care of yourself first - insanity will always be there

Awesome Job! 1.25 inches is amazing! Funny enough I actually love the pure cardio workout. For me it's knowing I don't ever have to repeat a move and I mentally tell myself I can survive a minute of anything... So for some reason I take less breaks in this than I do in other DVD's

When I completed this 2 years ago, I didn't lose any weight until month 2, and only 7lbs total. But I lost 8 inches off my waist, 3 off my hips and 2 off my chest so in the end I didn't care about my scale.

Hey @nowweseeyou - I'm with you I need some more in your face support. Only on day 3 so I'm still pretty motivated but already looking ahead at the calendar and making excuses for some days.

yes they are the same - makes the calendar look more diverse! plyo cardio circuit and cardio circuit are the same there is also pure cardio, but that is labeled as such.

I've been crushed with a cold, so I'm pushing my start back to next Monday. I did the fit test last night but can't stop coughing today. Basically I'll be your start date buddy :)

depends on you, insanity is 6 days/week. I often skipped the recovery workout and did my regular yoga class, but it sounds like you have more going on than me.

I did this 2 years ago, and I was doing my workouts at 7pm, I was eating a small dinner at 5, and then if I needed it a snack later in the evening. For me this helped lower my calories overall because I tend to overeat after work. I didn't use supplements or results and recovery. I did start adding protein powder to my…
