Though I'm not going through exactly what you're going through, I can relate with the mental struggles (I struggle with depression). I'm here if you need to talk....often talking about it does the trick for me (seeing a professional counselor is a great step in the right direction).

Welcome! You'll love it here! :)

Currently re-reading Five Love Languages - it's about the different ways people feel loved. It's a great read when you're looking to be a better spouse. Also great for parents! After this book I will probably read a fiction. Maybe Water for Elephants? I've heard it's good. I've tried reading The Shack about 4 times and…

I had to squeeze to fit on the rides at Six Flags.

We're going to try for baby #2. I want to be healthy this time around (was very overweight when we had our daughter, it caused complications, etc). Maybe I'll enjoy wearing a bikini first.

Georgia Lynn (3 yrs) She is the 4th George (named for paternal great-, grand, and father) and Lynn after my mother. We usually call her GL

Interesting. Maybe you should change the bulb color in your lamp, put it by the window, and see what happens...maybe they will communicate with you too...or better yet, maybe the UFOs will!

I'm thinking about how my hubby depends on the gov't to get him home after an 18 month rotation in Iraq...and if they are still shut down next week, I will be one angry wifey! Also about how I want to do nothing the rest of the night and wondering if I can get away with it...

Thanks for sharing your success story. It's so inspiring....keep going, you're doing great!!!

Yikes!!

You misunderstand.... That's all I get from hubby right now (besides the occasional flower delivery or pajamagram)...he's in Iraq. :blushing:

    Or in my case, to get that Skype convo..........

I've used a trainer in the past and recently returned to him for a 4 month boot-camp style regime. I love it! I've seen him for 4 weeks now 2x a week and though I've only lost 6 lbs in that time, I have gained crazy amounts of stamina (think 6 straight minutes of butt kicks and knee-high running in place) and several…

Sounds like a great idea! I'd be glad to help organize...it's one of my strong suits. Of course, I would vote for Atlanta though....great airport, and lots to do. Plus it's not far for me. :) Vegas sounds awesome, but don't know about it....too many gourmet restaurants!!

I am so sorry for your struggles, Beth. Are you seeing any specialist or high-risk OB? I understand the ectopic/methotrexate situation...I just went through it in February. 6 wks later and it's still affecting me. PM me if you wanna talk, I'd be glad to listen. :) Also, my hubby is deployed...has been gone almost 18 months…

Completely speechless....:noway:

Tell her knitting is time-consuming, so she can do that whenever she wants....

Voted. I hope she wins!!!

And here I was beginning to respect you... :grumble: jk....hahaha!!!!

When he does, that will make for awkward staff meetings, etc... :brokenheart:

:drinker: Cheers! ps. I want to assume your avatar is a Saint........

Our attitude exactly. When asked if we would get a divorce if he ever cheated, my husband replied, "Are you kidding? I could never leave Georgia (our daughter) without her parents. I'd be dead and Hope would be in jail....so not worth it!"

Bone density has a lot to do with this, I think. My sister was a size 4 at her wedding, she was super tiny, but was 150 lbs. She's dense (I think in more ways than one, HAHAHA!). I am built opposite of her, I'm a size 12 and look like a size 16...but when I do lose weight, I'm much more petitely built than she is...does…

I can't tell if you're flirting with me or propositioning to flirt... I'm going to go with my gut and sat that since this is a flirting thread, you are, indeed, flirting... Did I get it right? :blushing:
-
Thank you for being as least vague as possible....
-
That's frikkin' awesome! WTG you!

I've been with my husband since I was a teenager. I doubt I would recognize flirting from others if it hit me in the face while it wore a nametag....
-
Pam- yikes on the IL situation. As you could probably tell from my previous MIL post, I can feel your pain and frustration. Hoping they decide to do what is best for.... YOU

Wow, lots going on since I was in here last...! To ladies working through adoptions, there is an adoption service that my husband and I will be using when we adopt (we plan on doing this after we have 1 more biological child) called Bethany Adoption Service. They're a Christian-based firm, and if you adopt a child with…

I'd be glad to be your friend and help support you, but 50 lbs in 2 months is not very healthy. That's 5.5 lbs a week! Good luck with it though, and feel free to add me if you'd like. :)
