Wow! You look amazing! Girls will be knocking down your door!!!

Thank you for such an intelligent response! I agree with you completely. I was never taught how to live a healthy lifestyle. But I am learning now and trying to make it a healthy lifestyle change for my family and myself.

I waited tables for over 2 years and tried to lose weight several times during that time. The only thing that I relied on was drinking a lot of water (which wasn't convenient because then I'd have to go to the bathroom) and sheer will power and determination. It is difficult but you can do anything you set your mind to!

This is me too!

Thanks guys!

I didn't tell my husband either for a few days. He is about 375 lbs and tends to sabotage my diets with his actions, even though he supports me verbally. It can be hard when you have a history of failure to convince yourself that this time will be different.

Girl, I feel your pain. I am the same way. Just tell her and explain your views and why you aren't parading it to the world. She is your best friend, she should understand. Stand firm in what you have to do for you and to make you happy and healthy. Good for you for having the courage to make changes.

I agree that it's silly to divide foods into "good" and "bad" but I think a lot of people do it. Especially those that yo-yo diet. I am trying to avoid calling what I'm doing a "diet" because my goal is for it to be a lifestyle change that will last for the rest of my life. That is why I went ahead and ate the cookies…

I have a question and I hope I don't get flamed for this. I am new to this, thus ignorant about several matters. I don't understand why you would eat back your calories from working out? I thought the purpose of working out was to create a larger deficit to lose weight?

I am excited! Let's do this! I need to get a yoga/pilates mat!
-
I am not going to do the meal plan. I really am interested in the workouts.

Great job! You are precious! You're starting weight was 250 lbs and that's what I am now! Such an inspiration!!! :)

I just read skinnylion's post about Why You Should Eat More and I think it answered my question pretty well. I am learning a lot these days...hmm.

Ok guys thank you for your responses! This does help some!

When I'm hungry I eat. I'm most definitely not starving myself. Just coming shy of my daily caloric intake by a couple hundred calories.

I made this this morning and it was awesome! I only put mushrooms in it. I totaled it up and got 400 calories. I could only eat 1/4 of it; it was very filling! I cut the rest into 3 pieces and froze it for breakfasts this week! Thanks for the recipe!
-
I want to know too!
-
Thank you very much. That was my real concern, that I might be consuming too few calories.
-
It only lets you choose to lose 2 lbs per week...it said 1,400 calories?
-
I really like doing smoothies for breakfast. 1 banana (100 calories), 5 strawberries (45 calories) and 1/2 cup 2% milk (65 calories)...blend it up! :) You can freeze the fruit too so it's colder. Prevention.com has a lot of smoothie recipes. :)

I saw this on Pinterest and it looks delish!
