Walking is great, when you walk a mile or run a mile, you have done the same work, burned the same amount of calories. You probably make your heart beat faster when you run but the work, moving your body over a set distance is essentially the same.

I am sure that salt is good for you as recent European studies have shown that low salt has added to mortality rates or shortened mortality rates

or eat green peas, I hear they are an excellent source of iodine

okay it is not much of a problem, just drink more water than usual, bye bye sodium, excess sodium will hit the toilet. I have 2 20 ounce water bottles that say Fred and can fit my pocket and drink 80 ounces a day. Hey I have done this before with great success, except I injured my rotator cuff and went back to my old eating habits. A year or so later here I am starting over but am really excited and ready to get off the merry go round. I need active friends to help motivate me. You can add me if you want

i love my eggs fried or scrambled but that yogurt is good too with some flax seed and berries. but that is getting pretty far from atkins

on atkins you want to concentrate your carbs on the low end of the glycemic scale

Seems I am on a roller coaster of carbs going from 70 to 12 carbs but the average being around 50 and the median being close to 40. But my garden is also dictating that i eat more carbs so I dont waste the homegrown veggies.

scientists still baffled by how Atkins works. They checked ketosis in only one day, he was probably not even close to being in ketosis. I think they have partial success in that atkins works better than low fat. What they cannot explain is why people dont have any problem maintaining Atkins and fall off normal low fat…
