I use the Walden Farms zero calorie creamers. I cannot do without my coffee, and I tried but failed to enjoy it black. About a tablespoon of the Walden Farms does the trick, with no fat/calories/sugar/carbs.

My goal is 1260 but I eat back my fitbit adjustment calories. I've tried sticking to <1300 a day and it just isn't sustainable for me. I'm 5'6, 155 lbs, and average 1400 - 1500 calories a day depending on exercise.

The logging can definitely be tricky. All of my meats, vegetables, dairy, and even things like oils, grains, and breads come from small local farms. I love supporting local industry and eating fresh things, but none of it comes with nutritional labels. I'll spend a little more time scrutinizing database entries before I…

I definitely weigh everything except liquids, which I use measuring cups for. I'm also using the recipe builder quite a bit since I'm cooking a lot (except for the occasional meal out with friends). It's been an adjustment but now my food scale is a permanent fixture on the counter. :)

I guess I'm pretty lucky in this regard. I'm single with no kids and I work from home, so I get plenty of sleep. :)

Interesting point, I had not considered that my calculations were off. I used a few different calculators, assuming 1 to 3 hours a week of exercise (even though it's a little more than that). My TDEE - 20% came in around 1500-1600, so I set a goal of 1500 to allow for minor errors in measuring/weighing. Does that seem too…

New Orleans here!

I am also 5'7, starting weight of 155. I'm focusing on clothing size rather than weight - I'm currently in a size 12 pants and would love to get down to an 8/10. I think that's probably around 135 or 140 for me.

5'7, 150 lbs, size 10/12. My goal is 135 pounds and a size 8.

Protein of all sorts. I am a carb addict and used to stuff myself with pasta, potatoes, bread, etc. Now I focus on protein-based meals and snacks to keep me full longer. So far so good!

I have this same issue. I'm great during the week and just fall completely off the rails on the weekends. I'm committing this week to not eating out at ALL this coming weekend and having meals prepared to get me through. Good luck!

I started with a PT about 3 weeks ago. He took a look at my MFP settings, increased my calories, and said not to log or eat back calories from our workouts. I prefer this rather than trying to figure out how to log what we do in our sessions, which would be basically impossible.

I'd like to lose 15 by Christmas, which would put me a little over halfway to my goal. I've just recommitted to MFP and started working with a trainer this week.
-
My goals need to be sophisticated? My goal is to lose 20 pounds and become more fit in the process. What exactly do you suggest for less ambiguous goals?

Try body weight circuits. I'm using the beginners program over at Nerd Fitness and I really like it. It takes about 15-20 minutes and I feel like a got a good overall strength workout. It's not a huge calorie burn, but I'm definitely feeling tighter even in just a few weeks.

I lost my 10 pounds since January 6, so about 10 weeks. My MFP goal is set to 1200 but to be honest, I only hit that about half the time. I don't beat myself up if I have a 1500 or 1600 calorie day, because even that is WAY better than what I was probably eating before. I exercise maybe 1-2 times a week, sometimes a half…

I'm there also. Starting weight was 155 with a goal of 130, but more realistically 135 or a size 8, whichever comes first. I'm down to about 145 right now but know that I will likely yo-yo up and down a few pounds. I'm doing great with my food but exercise has been sporadic for me over the last few months, so I'm going to…

I'm on 1200 calories a day. I exercise maybe 2-3 times a week - sometimes cardio but usually a 15-minute bodyweight circuit. Since my calorie burn is so low (usually 150-200 calories), I don't eat those calories back. I read a lot on here that 1200 is too low, but based on my height/weight and the fact that I only have…

I literally just posted a thread about this same topic http://www.myfitnesspal.com/topics/show/1225694-eating-out-a-lot-help I am in situations a lot where I eat out and I don't feel great about how I'm tracking. I'd love any advice.

So many favorites! Once More With Feeling The Body The Zeppo Beneath You (that scene with Spike and the cross - whoa)

I live in Pittsburgh now but I'm originally from Louisiana. I'm home for Mardi Gras this week and it's hard being healthy!

I'm having trouble with this issue also, I think especially since I changed my diet and quit smoking all at once. I get a decent amount of fiber through fruits/vegetables, and I'm also a coffee drinker, but no luck. I started a fiber supplement a few days back and still no luck. It's miserable!

A guy once told me, as we were getting to know each other and things were getting flirty, that he wasn't sure if he could be attracted to me because I was so big. I'm 5'7 and weighed 155 at the time.

Wine and complaining.

I've been thinking about giving this a try, and reading this thread has convinced me. I'm usually not big on deck builders (I am TERRIBAD at MtG), but this looks pretty fun. Might as well try it while it's in open beta.

Drink and smoke cigarettes. A lot. I better stay single for a while, because my new healthier living won't tolerate much of that!

This weekend was my third ESO beta weekend, and I barely played. I'm pretty disappointed with the game in general, and unless it changes significantly before release, this might be the first MMO in a long time that I pass on. To me, it's biggest problem is that it feels like a single player game where other people just…

I'm 5'7 and would like to hit 130-135. I'd say I'm slightly pear shaped with an average build - anything less than 130 looks skeletal on me. My biggest indicator though will be pants size, not the scale. I've drifted up to a size 12 in recent years, and want to get down to a 10 or even an 8.
