The Dermotologist recommends Neutrogena products. Plus you should always be using a toner & moisturizer in addition to the cleanser.

Ditto!

This is my 2nd week doing it, I only did it 2 days last week though. I am doing lower tonight. It is tough and will leave you sore, but that is how you know it is really working.

I am 5'5" and my calories are at 1450 per day. Feel free to add me if you like. I wish you all the best!

You can't compare yourself to other people, a pound a week is a healthy weight loss. I am sure that many of the people that lost 18-20 pounds in a month had more weight to lose than you. From your profile pic, you don't look like you have alot of extra weight to lose. You should never give up on something you really want.…

Welcome to MFP....you can make a change in your life. I feel the same way about myself, I used to be 135-145, now I am around 180 and it sucks. I do not feel good about my body, but everyone on here is supportive. They give you great ideas on work out routines and better food choices. Feel free to add me if you want. You…

Stretching, muscle relaxer, ibruprophen, and a soaking in a hot epsom salt bath will help. You can even add a topical ointment for muscle pain in addition to all of that if you want. This happened with my calves about 3 weeks ago and it sucked, I could barely walk. I did all of that and in about 3 days I was fine. Best of…

I also have blonde hair and I only shave the tops maybe once a month in the summer or if I know I will be in a swimsuit. During the winter once every couple of months.

I like turkey bacon, they also have turkey sausage and it is good as well. Much better for the body than the regular stuff.

This will probably not be as funny on here as it was to see in person, but there was this guy that was always at my gym on an elliptical machine going sooooo fast. It was soooo funny to see him whizzing that machine around, I was waiting for the day when he got caught up on it or just flew himself off. Another one, I saw…

What an inspiring post! Congrats on all your hard work, it really did pay off.

I agree, you have to give yourself time to recover. When first starting out the doc will tell you to only work out 3 to 4 days a week. You don't want to hurt yourself or get sick.

Hourglass and I always lose off my boobs and face first.

Sure, you can add me if you like.

I agree that the doc should put you on a vit. D supplement, they should be the one to tell you how much to take. Be careful taking it on your own because an over abundance of vit. D can also cause muscle aches and pains. I had through the roof levels last year and the doc said it could be making me hurt worse.

You can also adjust your food diary to show if you are getting enough salt. That way you are not just trying to add things without really knowing if that is the problem. It could be not enough water and not enough calories. Whatever it is I hope you get it under control soon. I suffer from migraine headaches and know how…

I don't see anything wrong with it, especially after having kids. I don't have any, but my sister has and I know that everything can be out of place afterwards. I am sure I would have done the same thing. At least it has motivated you to stay healthy! I say CONGRATS to you!

That is awesome!! Way to go! :) You look great!

Use your own body weight to start out with. You can do sit ups, puships, lunges, squats, leg lifts, mountain climbers, etc. If you are not sure the proper form, use You Tube. There are tons of trainers that show videos on proper technique. :)

Poster 1: I wish I was skinny Poster 2: You can get there, but you have to work your butt off...literally!

It is because eating those types of foods releases chemicals in the brain that are associated with pleasure. I have heard Dr. Drew and Dr. Oz talk about this many times. I can't recall all of the details, but you should Google something about this or maybe someone else that has more details will reply to this post too.…

I am a little to far to be a walking partner, but I can show online support. I am in Ft. Worth, add me if you would like.

I was a band nerd for 7 years! Welcome! :)

Great attitude, welcome to MFP!

My sister started it 3 weeks ago. The biggest issue for her was that you work out 6 days a week and she has not worked out in years. So, she was exhausted and after the first week and a half she quit doing it. She is getting back into it this week. But even the doc will tell you when you start out that 3-4 days a week is…
