  • Hi! It's tough at first to get under the carb goal. When I first went low carb, I felt like I had low energy, was grumpy and upset, etc. However, after about two weeks it gets much easier. As far as fruit goes, I treat it as a dessert. I limit my fruit to berries or stone fruit 1-2 servings a day.

  • I am a big fan of NuvaRing if that's a possibility. No side effects yet (been using for 4 months). Continuing to lose 1-2 # a week. My GYN told me the BC shot (not sure what it is called) often causes weight gain, so keep that in mind. Good luck!
