Try taking some form check videos and posting them on YouTube. You can then share the link here to get form tips, or try reddit.com/r/xxfitness (female fitness subreddit). It will help get some outside perspective on how your form looks. Then, once you have the form down, try to increase your squat weight by 5 pounds every…

Louis C.K. Nice!

I'm in!! I live in Minneapolis. State Fair would be fun, good idea James!
-
I would suggest browing bodybuilding.com. There are a lot of different, free and very detailed programs on there. Many are structured for beginners, so it's a great place to learn about different exercises, forms, and lots more!

lol... that was about to get ugly

Hahaha! Fair enough :)

For me, if it has any ingredients in it that you can't pronounce and don't know what they are...it's likely processed. Any food with less than, say, 3-4 ingredients I would not consider clean.

You should post this in the Minnesota group!

On that note, unless you're frying in butter or oil or something I usually just log the eggs as "Grade A Large Eggs." I cook them with cooking spray so that adds very few calories.
-
YUM! That sounds amazing.

Enter, MFP. If you count your calories, how can you lose track? Eat whatever you want, whenever you want. Log it and stay within your calorie limit. It's simple, really.

Yay! I feel like summertime in Minneapolis is really what makes people remember why they live here :) Looking forward to lots of festivals, outdoor patios, rooftop bars, and sun soaking at Calhoun!
-
You look great! Keep up the great work!

My brain hurts...

I learned that "shiggles" is a word. And I love it :)

I hope someone has an answer for you! I am interested in the same question.

Lame on me... I have been really inconsistent with my diet and exercise... I blame it on graduation, family gatherings, and going out with my bf a lot (since he was about to leave for the summer we had been going on a lot of dinner dates). Blegh.

I ate an egg sandwich which I have for breakfast every day and it is mm mm good! Two fried eggs, one english muffin, one turkey sausage patty, one slice of colby cheese :)
-
I usually spray a pan with cooking spray, mince a clove of garlic, chop some onion, and throw it all together in the pan uncovered, stirring often. Takes about 3 minutes and tastes so good!
-
I eat the same lunch just about every day, and even though it's kind of boring, it's super healthy and filling! 4oz baked chicken breast, one large sweet potato (cooked in the microwave for 5-6 minutes), and 3/4 cup brown rice. I make a big batch of brown rice on Sunday nights and pack it for lunches throughout the week.…

Squat deeper

I want in! This should be a great way to stay accountable. So long as I remember, I'll check in on the 15th and 30th. Will update my measurements tomorrow. Current BF% is 24.8

Homemade protein bars are awesome! I make mine with rolled oats, natural peanut butter, and protein powder. I make a whole batch then freeze them and pack them in lunches throughout the week.

Umm... that IS a lot! Keep it up! Working legs is so fun. I worked out legs with my boyfriend not long ago and he pushed me to leg press 500 pounds (we had been doing leg press that day already, and tried for 500 on an extra last set)--and it felt AWESOME just to be able to do it once! Keep up the hard work buddy :)

That is so freaking awesome.

You should check out one of the free training programs on bodybuilding.com ... you don't need to follow their workouts, but they also include diet/meal suggestions that go along with the program, and that can be a really good baseline for you since your goal is to lose fat and gain muscle.

Try changing your MFP settings to very active and eat that amount of calories. 100-600 a day is definitely not enough to fuel your body at rest, let alone to fuel the amount of exercise you have been doing.
