It seems like you do great. :-O If you're concerned about getting enough then look up the new vegetarian food pyramid. Im not a vegetarian. But I wish I could follow that recommended diet. They say to follow it and make sure you get enough iron and b vitamins.

I cut out caffeine and cut back on animal products and that helped me out. Also raw beets are very good for digestion.

So much to read so little time. hehehe. Foods that target the colon are Tamarindo, (at Winco) You can make a tea with it or eat it plain. And Pinapple. Then there are other things that are extremely good for digestion like mint tea and papaya or ....papaya enzyme if you dont want to eat the fruit.

I dont purchase the remedy. I make it. Its one cup of each ingredient,, cooked for 30 minutes and put in a glass jar kept refrigerated. My doctor says im healthy.But my bp for about 5 years now has been at a prehypertention level. I cut coffee out for that reason . Before doing so i drank it black. But i drank about 2-3 cups a day. I was told one cup of black tea daily for 6 months has proven to lower blood pressure. Thanks for your input.

Well.. How confusing. I read every where that snacking through out the day is beneficial to our health because it keeps the metabolism working. And Ive been doing this for years. :-O Yikes.

I made my post with the intent to find people who care about their health and well being. But so many others sort of twisted this and emphasized on weight or "looking good." Also, Im at the point now that i try my best to keep junk food out of my diet and away from my family as well. Im slowly learning more about processed and packaged foods and it really scares me. :-( Even in moderation it scares me.
