Well 1,200 is the min... with no exercise according to Doctors. If exercise you eat more. Look it up....

I say to do 1,200 calories with no exercise... if you go below 1,200 your body is going into starvation mode

Thank you so much for your support... i was thinking of trying that (keeping my calories from 1200-1500 and see what happens) and working out 30 min some days and others 40 min with strength training

I am pretty active... I eat like 1400-1500 calories a day and workout 45 min 6 days a week

no i have tried strength training.. but i should! I just recently came back on this site after doing weight watchers... I need to go back to doing aerobics but at a higher intensity. I am gonna try MFP and see how it works.... thanks you are so much help

I feel the same way.. I been on here for almost 2 months and only lost like 3 lbs. I do everything right. I drink a lot of water, eat veggies and fruits, nuts, and whole grains. Also, I run about 3 miles run and walk everyday and I still cut keep the weight off. Oh I forgot to add that I eat around 1500 a day.

It depends on the person.. I usually gain 3-4 pounds but lose it right after. Don't weigh yourself when your on your period wait till after. Plus drink plenty of water that will help you so much with water retention.
