I like doing lat pull-downs and seated rows.

Yup, the soft straps tend to fail after a while, but the hard HR strap doesn't seem to have the same problem. I noticed that if you thrown the soft strap in the wash occasionally, it helps prolong the life. Unfortunately, with the 920, you have to stick with the soft strap if you want the running dynamics.

I've been using the P1's for a few months now, really have nothing but good things to say about them.

Keeping the number of races short to maximize training for 2016. April Fool's Half marathon - TBD Rev3 Quassy - half IMLP - My first full distance IMAC

If I had to rank them. I'd probably have cycling at the bottom of the list of the 3 as far as what I enjoy doing. However, I use that as a challenge to myself. 1st it's the mental workout that is just a big part of training as anything else. I just did my first century in October, on my trainer, in my garage, because the…

I use Infinit Go Far for long rides/races too. I definitely prefer liquid nutrition on the bike, don't have to deal with wrappers and such.

It could be that you are tired, but it sounds like dehydration.

Did you recently upgrade the firmware on your watch? I know they just pushed an update last week. You may want to roll back.
-
Just my $.02, but you'd probably have more of a benefit doing a short brick on Saturday after your long ride and save your legs for a more traditional long run on Sunday.

I am doing the run as part of a relay this weekend. I did my 70.3 at Shoreman.

Shoreman 1/2 - 9/6 AC Sprint Tri - 9/14 Princeton 70.3 (Running 13.1 as part of relay) - 9/21 Nothing really scheduled after that, except for Rock n Roll Marathon in AZ for Jan. I'll probably find some runs to sneak in along the way.

Hydration, hydration, hydration. Make sure you are hydrating every day and drinking plenty of water on a daily basis leading up to the race. Don't wait until the day before and try to cram your hydration all in.

Don't waste energy stressing over this. It WILL happen. People will be bumping you, touching your feet, swimming over you. You can't control that. If you remember THAT, you will be fine. Think about things you CAN control, setting up transition, knowing your ins-and-outs of transition, making sure your bike is in the right…

A trick I learned from skydiving... SMILE. I swear it helps break the tension. If you are feeling anxious, just look around, take it all in and smile. I've also seen it said a few different places, but treat race day as a celebration of your training. You've put in a lot of hard work to get here, enjoy it.

The biggest thing is to be comfortable breathing to either side. Most of us have a preferred side, but if you are dealing with some surf / swells, you will definitely be glad that you can breath comfortably. Last year in Wildwood, the day before the race the water was like glass and practice swims, I heard, were a breeze.…

I've been swimming regularly for about 18 months now. I was very lucky because my local YMCA has a class that is called "Swimming for triathletes", but really anyone can go. I was just like a lot of you out there too, couldn't swim more than 25 yards without feeling like I was going to die. Most weeks now, I'm in the pool…

Just heard back today. Unfortunately, I didn't make the cut and didn't get enough votes. I greatly appreciate everyone that took the time to vote for me. I may try again, but I'm focusing on my 1/2 marathon on Sunday and the quickly approaching race season. Again, a huge THANK YOU to all of you.

Voting ends today, let's finish strong. And of course they changed the original website links on the last day: http://gotchocolatemilk.com/vote - Kelly Chang

Thanks again. One week to go! This is very nerve racking.

Thanks guys. No, I don't know where I currently stand. I won't find out to the end, which is on 4/18 11:59 pm. Valentine - This is for a sponsorship, I'll get some free gear (always cool), some free race entries and $. I really do LOVE lowfat chocolate milk, so why not get supported by a brand that I use on a daily basis?…

Thank you for the votes, much appreciated.
