5 lbs is 17,500 calories... So unless you ate that on top of the calories your body needs to keep going every day, it's highly unlikely. Unless you at a few lbs of butter. It's most likely water retention due to sodium in the food, and the actual weight of the food.

Someone ran me over a few months ago... I got a broken rib and the *kitten* drove off. I got plate #'s, but no witnesses and the *kitten* denied it, so I got NOTHING from his insurance co. They told me that I could have been beaten up and just grabbed random plate #'s. Grrrr
