  • I'm interested in this as well, I usually only get around 10 or 12 grams.
  • Thanks so much, that was helpful!

  • Definitely. We try to keep things as "natural" as possible, but I do buy my soaps and cleaning products. I tried making my own, but they didn't turn out quite right. We use Ora Wellness and activated charcoal for brushing our teeth, Dr. Bonner's for body wash, and I use a lot of Seventh Generation's cleaning prodcuts, or…
  • Welcome! Have you been on Reddit's Keto page? There is a link to a calculator on the right hand side of the page with the other links. I found it to be very helpful. Per it's suggestion, I use the 65f/30p/5c (works out to 20g of carbs a day, but I don't mind if I go up to 25). It's working pretty well for me. You may try…
  • Bunless cheeseburgers. I started making the almond flour buns from Caveman Keto.. they are fantastic! I don't even miss a traditional bun.
  • Never heard of it. Why wouldn't you just eat fruits and vegetables? Baby food looks disgusting to me. Granted, I didn't even feed my own child baby food, so what do I know.
  • No flames from me. Do whatever works for you. I generally ear around 1300 calories, but my food is usually pretty filling. If I were more hungry, I'd definitely eat more. I despise blanket statements - who cares what anyone else is eating. Eat what works for you and makes you feel the best. If you aren't feeling great, ask…
  • I do keto and primal. I think there is a lot of room for overlap between the two lifestyles. I do eat dairly (heavy cream, butter and cheese - I do not drink milk) and I also have blueberries if I'm craving something sweet. A handful really doesn't have many carbs. I think you should try different things for a couple weeks…
  • I like the calculator on Reddit. I'm at work, so I can't link to it, but if you google "Reddit Keto" and open that, it will be on the right hand side under "links".
  • My go-to dinner is a stirfry of some sort. What about some chicken, broccoli, carrots and squash with soy sauce? That would be fairly low calorie.
  • Feel free to add me, as well!
  • It happens to everyone. At least you recognized and learned from it! :) I fell off for like 2 months. Luckily I didn't gain too much, but I felt like crap. At least the weight I gained seemed to be mostly water weight and came off relatively quickly when I started back again.
  • I eat stir-fry a couple times a week. Usually on Sunday I will just cut up some chicken and whatever veggies I have a saute them all with some coconut aminos/soy sauce. Super easy and warms up decently. Or steak with veggies and worcestershire sauce.
  • I'll have to try these. I despise chocolate, so I've been looking for a fat bomb recipe without it. The cheesecake fat bombs mentioned previously sounds great, as well.
  • Feel free to add me, as well!
  • Good to know! I have been toying with the idea. I'm going to give myself another week or so to see if I break through, but if not, I think I will try IF.
  • Try going up 200 - 300 calories and see how you feel.
  • If it's not chicken livers, I grind it up and add it in with ground beef. For chicken, I like to make a version of Julia Child's mousse. It's delicious with apples.
  • Small changes - rice pasta (personally, I don't eat rice, but I believe it to be the lesser of the grain evils), mashed cauliflower, almond flour pancakes (The Urban Poser has a recipe for pancakes that taste crazy similar to wheat based), etc. Snacks - make your own gummy snacks with fruit juice and gelatin, sorbet made…
  • Buttermilk is thicker than regular milk and tastes sour. I think it's mainly used in the southern US for biscuit making and baking. I think I've heard of it as a chicken marinade, also.
  • Agreeing with most everyone. Chances are, your friend knows he needs to lose weight, and how to do it. You telling him won't make a difference. He has to want it.
  • Popcorn with parmesan is my weakness! My husband thinks it's so disgusting, but I love it. Anyway, I had Olive Garden on Memorial Day and had way too many breadsticks and alfredo sauce. I was up 4 pounds the next day due to the bloat and now, 4 days later, I've lost most of it. I still need to lose .4. Not a big deal, but…
  • No carb? What do you eat? Just meat? Are you opposed to low carb? I don't know all the carb counts of vegetables, but I can't imagaine you're getting many if you are completely avoiding carbs.
  • I do low carb, but count calories, as well. I don't worry if I go over my target much (1300), but I do try to stay around that. Have you calculated your macros? That may work better for you. I don't think I'd do well with so many restrictions.
  • I started watching my carbs in January. I did really well and lost about 15 pounts until I started a new job in March. I got out of my routine and feel back into old eating habits. Luckily (and suprisingly) I only gained a few pounds back, but I started low carb again in May. I think my biggest issue was with not being…
  • I get the same thing. I tried from my computer and iPad.
