I really like Bob Harper's Yoga for the Warrior. The disc is five bucks on his website right now.

I've been here since June; lost about thirteen pounds. I have another twenty to go to my goal. Feel free to add me.

Are you eating back your exercise calories? Some people find that slows the pace of weight loss. I would agree with the other poster who mentioned trying to cut your sodium intake: this can be a big cause of water weight retention, and in general is just not great for your heatlh; it drives up blood pressure and strains…

I had put on forty pounds in medication weight over the course of about a year and a half, only one of about seven pairs of jeans I owned fit any more, and I took a research trip to Paris, France in May for two weeks. I walked a half hour one-way to the library every day of those two weeks and came back five pounds…

Be sure you are getting enough protein and fiber among your 1200 calories, and drinking plenty of water. Have you tried changing up your workouts? Cardio some days, lifting other days, something like yoga on other days, and a rest day or two? Changing the ways you burn might get your body moving in the direction of loss.…

I have always wanted to get an apartment in Paris, to make staying over there for long periods more affordable. That is the first place my winnings would go!

I have about twenty pounds left to lose to get to my goal weight. Feel free to add me.

Actually in an interview Jillian explained the workouts should be done every two days, then rest a day, to avoid strain and injury, meaning the whole sequence would take something more like 45 days.

I found I lost a lot of inches around the middle (front and back) doing the first two levels of Jillian Michaels' 30 Day Shred.

Feel free to add me. Our goal weights are only about ten pounds apart.

It took me about eight weeks. I only lose about a pound a week.
-
Awesome loss. You should be proud.

Bikram yoga is particularly helpful for weight loss. I lost about fifteen pounds over three months doing Bikram when I was in graduate school.

Get it, girl.

Look at the difference in those arms! You look amazing.

Awesome job so far.

Super cool. Congratulations.

Feel free to add me. I have about forty pounds to lose. It does not come off quickly, but there you have it.

Feel free to add me. I am down six pounds so far: five from before I joined the site and one since. I am also in the food industry: I work full time in a restaurant, so I know the challenges of being around food all day. Best of luck to you in this journey.

I think the recipies in the book are particularly good, but I must say I am having the hardest time cutting diet sodas and artificial sweeteners out of my diet. I mean, they are everywhere, even in no-sugar-added drinks. But Bob Harper has always been a big inspiration to me; I am definitely a fan of the book.

My starting weight at 5'4" was 150; so far I am down six pounds with a goal weight of 110 to 115, which is what I weighed three years ago.
