I am 5'4' and just want to get out of the 180's. :noway: I feel like I am in some sort of weight trap. My goal has been 150. I am just going to take it one day at a time, one pound at at time. I just REALLY want to see something besides 18........ THAT is my goal.
  • I am 4'11'', I weight 131 pounds today. I am trying to get to 105, which brings me out of the overweight zone. I've tried everything, exercise, calorie control, etc. I've been stuck here for almost a year. I just joined MFP about a month ago and have been tracking myself alot more closely. I am hoping that this will help. Getting very discourage some days.

I'm 5'2", 44 years old, a mother of two... and working to get back to my goal weight I achieved in August last year. My starting weight was 157.0 and my original goal weight was 124.0. Once I reached that, I still had some belly fat to get rid of so I reset my GW to 122.0. I reached 121.0 and still had a little belly bulge so my plan is to get back to 121.0 and see where I need to go from there.

I always thought I was 4'11" turns out I just had poor posture. Actually, 5' even! =) I have a goal of 115-120, right now I'm at 136.8. I used to get hung up about the numbers, but I want to see how I look at 125. If I'm toned/athletic looking I'll be cool with that. I know I have to get some major fat stores off me first though.

My starting weight at 5'4" was 150; so far I am down six pounds with a goal weight of 110 to 115, which is what I weighed three years ago.

I'm 4'11" and 22 years old. My starting weight was 125. Right now I'm somewhere around 115. I don't know for sure since I don't have a functioning scale. My goal weight is also unknown, because at this point I'm more focused on gaining muscle and losing fat. It doesn't matter what weight I turn out to be, just as long as I feel good.
  • Hi all,

I am 5 3 and currently 154lbs I want to get to 140. I have only just given up smoking and over a period of three months gained a stone and a half. Will keep you posted.

I'm 5'3, SW end of Feb was 154lbs, yesterday I hit my first GW of 133lbs! Woo! My original UGW was 130, but now I'm almost there I think I'd like to get to 120, then get building some muscle :) To be honest I'm more bothered about losing inches and toning up, oh and getting my body fat percentage down into the teens! We can do it girls! x

I'm 5'3", my highest weight was 170 (before starting on here) and currently I am 146 with a goal of 140 to get back into a normal BMI range. My plan all along has been that once I get to 140, I'll re-set my goal to 130. To me, 130 is where I'm really comfortable. The lowest I've been as an adult was 118-120 and while part of me enjoyed that, another part of me thought that was a little too thin. I've got a ways to go to get to 130, so I'm in no rush to make plans for anything below that just yet.

I am 5'2 and currently weigh 155. My first goal is 130, and once I get there I will gauge how much less, if any, I need to lose.

I am 5'2 @ 187lb. In October 2008 I was at 225lbs. I just went to the doctor last week and asked for my weight for the past 5 years. I about cried when she told me back in August 2008 I was 229lb. I would like to get to 135lb.

    First post here - hi!

I'm 154 and want to lose 20lbs. I'm only 5'2". I had a baby 6 months ago and I want to get rid of the extra weight now. Feel sluggish and fat and I have absolutely zero muscle tone. I ordered the 30 day shred today along with ripped in 30. Going to start with the shred and then move on to the other one. I hope to mimic the great results I saw in a different thread about those workouts.

I'm 5'3 and at my heaviest (146 lbs).

I am aiming to get down to 115 - 118 in the next 3-4 months.

It's a bit daunting, and I'm trying set small goals, but I'm worried about all the speed bumps that will undoubtedly incur along the way.

At 5'3, one bad weekend can completely undo a week of good.

I'm hoping that finding community support will be helpful! The sucess stories are always SO inspiring! :)

    5'3 started at 149 . . . Today at 138 . . . Goal was 128 but just modified it to 132 . . . I am struggling with actual losing lbs . . . With the suggestion of a trainer at my gym I stopped looking at the scale and started looking at the measuring tape . . . Waist started at 34 . . . Today at 29 . . . But your right . . . A bad weekend can completely undo a good week . . .

I'm around 5'3" to 5'4"ish... (I know it's weird, but it changes haha). CW is 134 (after Christmas break weight gain) and I'd like to get down around 115 or 120 because, as long as I maintain my lean tissue weight, I'll be down to the BF% I want haha

    5'1" - 140 lbs
Trying to whittle my way back down to 130!
It'll be a slow process since I'm trying to gain muscle along the way! :D
  • 5'3 and currently 157.... GW is 126 or possibly 120 depending on how I look then. If I'm toned I'll be fine to be smaller otherwise I look a bit gaunt any smaller

Hi! I'm Jill, 5'0". Presently 7 months postpartum,146 lbs, looking to be 110-120 (we'll see when we get closer. Haven't been in that weight range since I was 18).

I started tracking on MFP on November 10th at 162 lbs ... I had only lost 2 lbs since having my daughter while trying to work out at "eat better" on my own for the previous 5 months.

2 months in on MFP and down 16 lbs! Good gravy I wish I had done this earlier!!
