I have 20 lbs to go and would like to link up with you. I don't have any friends yet, but would like help for this last 20! Can I join?

On the list is a "Crazy Horse mixed salad greens." I have found by calculating everything separately and comparing to this a few times that is is accurate to a few calories, and now tend to just use that regardless of what actually goes in (unless I'm feeling particularly OCD about calories that day).

I find the cravings get less strong over time. I am trying to have a little bit of the things that trigger these cravings, rather than cutting them out completely, but other people try and eliminate them altogether.

Learn to cook and prepare meals at least some of the time that you are happy eating. I can pretty much guarantee he won't complain.

Part of the problem is the system: new posts can get buried very quickly, and so don't get spotted by anyone. What are some of your questions?

3 suggestions. 1. Buy a bike and keep it at work. Cycle 30 min a day. 2. Commute back home: get off early and get home in a way that is exercise. 3. Do HIIT, as that takes less time. Good luck. I work full time, am studying for a masters, and have two small kids, and am on 24 hour cal 28 weeks of the year. Crazy! I get up…

By abs exercises do you mean crunches? Because there are good abs routines that you can do standing up. Have you tried those instead? Something like this might help ... http://www.self.com/fitness/workouts/2006/09/ab-sculpting-without-crunches-video

Then lose as much as you can dieting sensibly, run the 5k, and then after that continue your diet until you have reached your goal weight. It sound from your OP that you are exercising well, so you should expect to see some good loss in 5 weeks. Your rate of weight loss is going partly to depend on what your starting…

You dont need to lose 50lba to run 5k. Just lose as much as you can eating safely and run run run!

You are confusing a correlation with a causation. It is not necessarily the case that it was eating at McDonald's / eating more that caused the plateau to break.

OK here's my suggestion. Go and get 25 lbs worth of weights and put it in a back pack. Carry it around for a while, and even try doing your exercises with this weight on you. That is how much more your body was working when you started! You are burning fewer calories than when you started: this is probably the main reason…

If she were to put 61 lbs now in a backpack, following that loss, and carry it on her back for 30 minutes, I guarantee it would feel to her like exercise, but thats what she was doing when she started. As she loses more weight the walking will burn fewer and fewer calories, and she will have to either accept a slower…

Ha ha yes that is priceless.

It does not matter when you eat your food over the day except to the degree it helps you manage controlling what you actually eat. If this pattern helps you then go for it.

I don't have one, but they seem better than hrm or Fitbit, but subscription is necessary and expensive: http://www.bodymedia.com/ (called Ki in the UK). I don't have that kind of money, but if I did I would def. get one! By best kit would be my weights, which only cost a few pounds ...

Whey protein, get one with over 75% protein and you will reach your target no problem.
-
Consider intermittent fasting.
-
There is nothing wrong with using the calories burnt figure from those machines, but bear in mind that even the very best ones with a hrm have error of over 10%, and some as much as 40%. Just something to take into account? Whatever the exact figure, you are doing tons of exercise.
-
Just a suggestion, but the exercise calories might be not as much as what is being calculated. What exercise are you doing?
-
Seems fine to me, if you are feeling well and alert, then stick with it. What are your goals, and are you heading in the right direction?
-
What a great idea.
-
Statistics that would help you know better what is going on: heart rate while exercising, and body fat vs. water percentage. Good luck and stick with it! It does not matter that insanity is not all fat burning; if you complete it you will be fitter, and better conditioned for fat loss. Keep it up!

This advice is not necessarily medically correct. Swimming can give you foot tendinitis, either laps or water aerobics. Never exercise if it is painful. Most important thing is to wear correctly fitted shoes. Applying cold to foot can help. Because exercise is usually an important element of healthy weight loss, accept the…

Perhaps your body knows that Harry Styles probably wouldn't mind 143? My suggestion would be to slowly add more protein and fibre, and build some muscle. Then aim to break that plateau in a few weeks time, if it doesn't happen on its own. Relax, it will happen, just not at the pace you thought it would happen at.

I like this one: Those who think they have not time for bodily exercise will sooner or later have to find time for illness. ~Edward Stanley

You don't have to if you don't want to; I do so because it is an easy way to get some protein in after a work out, and ... I like them.

Carrots and cherry tomatoes do the trick for me.
