It does not matter when you eat your portions over the day from the point of view of your body breaking it down into energy ect. But it can have a psychological effect that is either positive or negative ... Which one will depend on you. It you like the feeling and the pattern then stick with it. If you don't like it or…

I think everyone is different. I eat in the morning if I'm hungry, but normally for me lunch is my first meal of the day. But I don't think I'm abnormal! If you feel as if you are starving, then have a great healthy meal to get your day off to a good start ... sounds fine to me ... are you concerned about your level of…

Insanity and P90x are available to buy online in the UK. They are both good programmes. Instead of the P90x I started with the P90, which I am pleased to have done. But, it is very hard to find the P90 in the UK, so the P90x might be easier to get hold of. If you want the P90 you need to order it from the US, and pay for…

You are losing weight. Well done! You are losing weight more slowly than you would like. The psychological consequences of this can be either positive or negative. The positive -- and it is a big one -- is that once you get down to the weight you want (and at this rate you will get there eventually) you will do so within a…

No problem. :-)

Ok I've looked at your diary now that it is public. My recommendation is to track ALL your food and drink for a week. Even if it is a drag, try to measure as much as you can. Do it for a week and see how that helps you better work out what is going on. Good luck with getting down to a weight you are happy with, and post…

Bump, in case this got lost a bit.
-
No problem. To clarify, I do not know him personally. :-)

You can just convert that to miles:6.2 miles. So ... You ran 10,000 in 75 minutes. Was this on a treadmill or outside? If outside was it flat or hilly? Either way, you seem to have a good level of fitness. Would you mind posting your height and weight? I think you might have burned 700/800 calories. I recommend eating…

Burning 1258 calories seems a lot': what did you do to burn do much? I am wondering if this is accurate.
-
How accurately are you tracking food? What exercise are you doing? If you make your diary public people can offer better suggestions.

What held me back? Chocolate, probably. :-) I am now trying to teach myself to eat it in moderation, but it ain't easy.

Looking good!

Bought shares in Apple.

Shirataki noodles. A packet is filling, bulks up a meal, and has 0 calories. Brilliant.

Very well said.

If you get some easy tips that work then that's great. But be prepared for your journey to require some discipline and sticking to the plan sort of grit that will not feel easy at the time. Remember that even if it feels tough: you can do it!

Hi! If you would like to be my friend I am happy to help on the accountability front. I know I always benifit from that! Add me if you like. :-)

You can do it! One step at a time ...

If you are working out with the same exercise now as when you started, then if you want to get the same calorie burn you will need to try running for 35 mins with 20 lbs strapped to you! Rather than do that, if you want to same calorie burn and so more weight loss, you will need to exercise a bit more. I really recommend…

This is in my opinion wrong on several levels, the most relevant being that unless your body fat % is very very low at 180lbs you won't be going into starvation mode, especially overnight!
-
Would you mind making your diary public, so that I can see what you are eating??
-
My suggestion would be to stick to your calorie goal but work towards doing a longer cardio session mixed in with some strength training on some of the days, as well as rest days. Also, measure your food intake as accurately as possible for a few days to ensure that your calculating is accurate. Also, if you are eating…

It sounds like you are further down this road than me. I sometimes feel there is this self-destructive part of me that does not want to succeed. I just don't yet feel I have entirely managed to get it out of my system. Thank you for your post.

You are unlikely to need new shoes. How about specific calves strengthening 3 times a week? Just hold a 5kg weight in one hand, and lift yourself on to your toes 15-20 times, one foot at a time, 3 times a week. That should get them a bit stronger. Good luck!
-
You can do it! I would be happy to encourage from time to time. :-)
-
My suggestion is to start my tracking everything you eat. Do that for a week, and then review small ways you can starting cutting things out or substituting things with healthier foods.
-
My suggestion is to work out healthy substitutes that satisfies your sweet tooth and you can eat alongside other people and so not feel left out. So if you have a food processor you can make your own 'ice cream' to have at the same time that your fam eats their bought ice cream with the following very simple recipe. 150…

Your food diary is not public, so it is not possible to see what you have been eating in order o respond to your question specifically. The importance will depend on the degree of calorie deficit, how much you weigh at the moment, and how active you are.
