Thanks everyone! Julie, I've not asked for a half portion before, I'm one of these people who like a quiet life in a restaurant and never complain! I should be braver :-) I do sometimes asked for poached eggs on toast from the hotel on the occasional evening which I do from the phone in my room so it's less embarassing lol…

Thanks for the replies, it's interesting to see how other people are doing it. My 45lbs will put me in certain clothes in my wardrobe that I felt reasonably ok (but not blissfully happy) in and when people commented on how good I looked in, so that's where that one came from. My end goal puts me in a uk size 12 which I…

I've just ordered some to try from www.zeronoodles.com There seems to be several companies selling this, with different names. Looking forward to trying them :-)

quite a debate! The reason I am looking at 2lbs per week is because I have an interim target in November that I am aiming for, for a specific occasion, however i realise to sustain this would be difficult so i'm not going to be too upset if i dont quite reach it but i'd like to get close. I also have read from many…

Do you think so Elizabeth? Dont forget I'm talking net. So I would aim to eat 1200 and burn 270ish. You dont think that's reasonable?
-
Aha! I just did it again using my TDEE instead of BMR so my TDEE is 1928 so I need to net 928 to lose 2lbs per week. That sounds so much better! phew
-
ah no, it was my BMR - around 1645 I think. One site told me literally how many calories I need to eat each day to lose 2lbs per week which was around 600. This was based on my current weight, age & height. I tried several sites, they all said the same thing. Am I being thick? lol
-
So i looked at that website and on a few others and basically if I want to lose 2lbs per week (which I dont think to be unreasonable), I have to net 614 calories. Blimey! I dont have enough time to do all the exercise required to net 600. It's going to be a slooooooow journey - either that or I will have to start counting…

II had summer berry flapjack in mine today. That was lovely. I'm not a seed person but there's plenty more to choose from :-)

I think unless you're planning a night out and you're exercising in preparation, it's good to view them as a bonus towards your weight loss. Let's face it, you'll only lose weight quicker....bargain!

well my first one didn't arrive yesterday as expected, so hopefully it will today. They did send me an email telling me what was going to be in it and it amounts to 365 calories. In the meantime, I have also been to Holland and Barrett and bought a selection of similar items as I think the concept is good, especially if…

I might try that. I'll give them a go first as I'm getting the first one free then 2 half price, then see what I think. I am a bit of a nibbler, so the concept is quite good for me

Thankyou to everyone who added me :-)) someof you asked questions but i couldn't reply on the 'friends requests' bit and now I dont know who said what....oops! someone asked how much I want to lose though which is 4 stone (56 lbs). That's what i'd like to lose by xmas anyway. I'd like to lose another stone on top of that…
