I think it depends on your build. I am 100-102 lbs, 41, medium small bones, any less I'd be sick. I started running this year - before running I was 104 lbs.

How is it timed?

MFP tells me to eat 1480 to maintain my weight & TDEE tells me 2000 - so there is a big difference!

I started running almost 6 months ago - and I have one pair. I invested in a good pair of Asic running shoes in November on election day! lol I run gravel trails & pavement - snow, rain or shine in them. I am so comfortable in them I can't imagine wearing another pair. However, I think I am going to have to get new ones…

Thank you for all the advice!! I have been fitted for shoes, stretch before & after runs, have compression socks, changed my strike to midfoot, shortened my stride & run every other day. My shin splints are so much better - only flare up once in a while (I like to do hills). I only have to ice them once in a while. I will…

I love Cameron Diaz's build.

I've seen after photos of members on MFP that have gradually lost a lot of weight - 50-100+ plus. From what I've read they have had to work on burning the last bits of fat & skin by toning & leaning out. This takes a while but continuous exercise & diet will lift that skin - it may not ever be super tight but it will firm.…

Try a Marshall's or a TJ Maxx! They have decent, brand name mats for inexpensive.

My heart rate is very similar to yours - everyone has a different peak rate. I am healthy - low blood pressure, good cholesterol, 5'2, 100 lbs. I exercise everyday. My resting heart rate is in the 60s. I have a friend, in great shape, who has to work hard to get her heart rate to 150 - 150 is a comfortable jog for me -…

Are you warming up with some dynamic stretching? This seems to help my husband who has bad knees!

I am 5'2, 100lbs. I think you need to keep in mind your body frame & what weight you feel healthy. The range for a healthy BMI is wide - so find a place you feel & look good at:) You can do it!!

This post cracks me up.

I posted a quote to my Pinterest which sums up a lot - "It doesn't matter how hard you work in the gym if you don't control what you put on your plate." Weights vs. Plates. You will reap cardio benefits but you won't lose weight without watching your caloric intake.

I think your enzymes can be elevated if you are dehydrated or fighting off an infection. I've had slightly elevated levels - I have never been obese, don't drink & am fine. However, I am horrible about drinking water!

Great job!

That is great - I hope you have a shower at work!

You can make Biggest Loser Oatmeal pancakes with your cottage cheese - delish!!

You mean an hour 5-6 times a week, right? I think speed walking or running will be a faster burn. However, you need to start off speed walking before running. I agree with another post - Zumba is a great way to burn fat - if you like dancing. The constant movement to music for an hour is a good fat burning aerobic workout.…

I use the Digifit app on my iPhone - you an also use MapMyRun -they will calculate distance, speed & calories burnt (this isn't accurate - a HRM (heart rate monitor) is the most accurate).

I am sharing this success story with my husband. Way to work hard & be disciplined!

I am going to try this. I made zucchini blueberry bread today & it is 199 per slice - yikes!
-
Great work - you look fab!

A sweet fix for me are dark chocolate Hershey's Kisses.

Super job!!!

It depends on the intensity you work out at. I bought a HRM (heart rate monitor) and Zumba, circuit training & running are the most burn for me. However it all depends on how hard you are working out:)
-
Great story - and you hit the nail on the head. Being fit & healthy is the most important!

You are not obsessed you are dedicated!! Keep up the good work:)

I want to know how many calories I am actually burning. This AM I used my iRunner phone application when I walked, a brisk walk, with my husband. I did the same exact route & did a walk/run later. I shaved 8 minutes off the time we did in the AM & it gave me 20 calories less. I was dripping sweat & know my heart rate was…

The pasta was yummy & not as grainy as I was expecting. I will be making it again!
