i'm 5'2, 110 so look at my picture for reference if you'd like
looks great, and reconfirms that general weight goal for me! thanks0 -
im 5'1 almost 5'2 and right now I weigh 115lbs.
My goal weight is 100-105 lbs. So far I have been doing BODY PUMP classes twice a week and Cardio 4x a week. I see a difference in my body but not any weight loss on the scale. I am aiming to eat between 1200-1400 cals a day when I work out.
I think after two months I should start to see more results... do you guys agree???
Thanks!!0 -
In my dreams I would be 115 but for right now I am shooting for 135. Oh and I am 5' 1.5"0

5'2
aiming at 115-1200 -
I'm 5'2" and I find my weight settles out quite well at about 110lbs0
-
Jillian Michaels is 5'2" 115, but keep in mind how much muscle mass she has0
-
im 5'2 and 115 pounds,my weight goal is 100 pounds0

5'2 and 1/2 at 107, down from 127 but don't mind going up to 110 or more as muscle increases. My focus is really muscle/toning. I think between 105-115 would make sense, but age, body frame, if you are a mother, are all considerations as well the body fat % everyone has mentioned.0

I'm 5'2" and my ideal is anywhere from 102-112 lbs. I run anywhere from 1-2 1/2 miles almost ever morning and I take AT LEAST a miles while every day. Another thing that's important is eating more veggies and cutting out crap like cookies, cake, and that other stuff unless it's a birthday or something. I have been doing this and I've lost 6 lbs in 8 days.0

I look great at 140 lbs. I have a large frame and I'm muscular.0
-
I'm 5'2" and felt I looked my best around 120 in the past - I have a small-medium frame. I'm 154ish right now so still working towards that goal.0

Echoing what other people said - be careful of relying solely on the BMI calculators. I'm 5'1", and according to those, I should be anywhere from about 90-120lbs. However, I've talked to three doctors about my weight, and they have all said that I absolutely should not go below 125lbs because of the way I am built. I trust them more than the random calculators on the internet0
-
I'm 5'1 and I am maintaining my current weight of 110 (: good luck!0

My doctor told me the ideal weight for 5'2 ladies (which I am one) is 115-120. I'm aiming for 130 right now, but once I get there, we'll see!0

5'2 50 years old and right now at 135 down from 165. I don't care what any "score" says...I think I'm pretty friggin fab right at this weight..and I want to keep my curves. Maybe 5 more...but if I don't lose even the 5 more..I'm going to take all the attention I get out and about at this weight right here.0

I am 5'2, 100lbs. I think you need to keep in mind your body frame & what weight you feel healthy. The range for a healthy BMI is wide - so find a place you feel & look good at:) You can do it!!0

I am 5' 2" and from what I've looked up, the healthy range is generally from about 100-135ish. I'm aiming for about 115 for a number goal and then to stay between 112-120 at all times to allow for natural ups and downs. I picked the number for my own reasons before I looked anything up and turns out it's right about midway of healthy so I'm good with that. Don't want to verge on unhealthy on either end of the spectrum. 110 sounds like a good number too.0
-
5'2" here. Guess I'm on the higher end of the spectrum! I'm aiming for 130. Will reevaluate when I get there. I was 125 pounds and a size 7 when I was 16. I was happy with my body then.0

Maybe around 99 -120 lbs, I don't know for sure but I am currently 99 pounds in my 5'2 frame but I still want to shape my belly. It depends how you view yourself, in Asia, women are just so tiny so I always feel so big. even when you have muscles they think you are big, I don't think they can distinguish between fat and muscles. :blushing:
I think culture affects the ideal weight, as example, curvy girls look adorable in some culture but for some they are not.
For me, as long as you exercise and eat clean, you will be in your ideal weight. Don't worry about people's thoughts.1 -
I've been 5'2" since I was 12 and was a professional dancer & taught dance when I grew up... Pretty much always weighed between 105-115. A couple of times I did break the 100 mark, but I ended up being really sick both times & I would be really scared if that ever happened again. My goal weight is to get back down to 109, just because I want that 1 pound brownie point.0

It depends on your build. According to BMI, the normal weight range is from 101-136 lbs. So if you're small framed, the ideal weight ranges from 101-121, medium is from 118-132 while large frame is from 128-141 lbs.
I'm also 5'2" but with a medium frame & weigh 55 kgs or close to 123 lbs. A few months ago, I went down to 53 kgs or 115 lbs. but with that weight, I looked very thin & sickly.
^^^^ THIS
get your body fat percentage measured, because you can't reliably measure frame size. If you know your body fat percentage, you can use this to calculate how much lean body mass you have, and how many lbs of fat you are carrying, and how much you will weigh at the body fat percentage you want. Much more reliable than just guessing what weight out of the entire BMI range is healthy and will look good for you.
I'm 5'1" and 130lb and 22% body fat (measured yesterday) - aiming for 20%bf and 105lb LBM. My lean body mass (around 101lb) is more than some women of my height's entire weight. There's no way I can get into the lower end of the BMI range and still be healthy. I'd have to lose about 20lb of muscle and bone density to do that. No way that's healthy.0 -
I am around 5'2 and I am planning on being around 110 pounds, maybe lower if I am not happy with it. But I understand thats more extreme then most here. Its not about number, its how you feel and what your happy with,0

This post is from 7-25-11, and it appears to be continually revived over the years.0

im 5'2" 42 yrs old. my goal is 120 but am more happy when i get down to 116... though i just can't seem to maintain that. If I get lower i look ill. right now about 130 and not happy.0
-
I'm 5'1 and my goal weight is 110-115!:) I'm starting to lift weights along with all of the cardio. Therefore, if my body looks good but the scale doesn't get down to 110 I'll be okay with that. I'm currently 121:)0
-
Phew - someone that I can relate to! I know I can't or won't ever see 115 again - nor do I want to - but I would like to get to 135 again...maybe even 130...but I am very muscular from all the biking, running, swimming and horseback riding I do - so being 'skinny' isn't going to ever happen0
-
Ideal weight depends on your build and body fat percentage. Weight is a good jumping off point but not the only thing you should look at while moving towards a healthy you! Of course I'm like most people and just want to be skinny. I am currently 135 (down from 160) body fat currently 23.9. Size four pants and size 2 dress. Kept the weight off almost a year so far. There is no one size fits all formula for ideal weight.0

I am 5'2" and I am currently 98 pounds. Is that an okay weight? Should I weigh less I feel fat.0
