yes meds do make you gain weight. I was taking risperadol for several months and gained a significant amount of weight and I didn't even eat that much so go and do your research first!!!

try meal replacement shakes or ensure. gnc total lean lean shake packs 180 cal, 9g protein, 30carbs - and the chocolate one is so tasty!

congratulations on losing 100 pounds!!! I am on my way to losing 125. Lost 34 so far - going up and down and up and down. Hopefully this time it will not go up. You should slowly increase your calories and continue exercising and counting calories until you reach an amount that maintains your weight and you should be fine.

my starting weight was 275 and I gained all the weight from taking medication. I gained so much that I started having severe lower back pain to the point that it would hurt so bad that I could only walk or stand up for a few minutes at a time and then I would have to sit down to get some relief from the pain. my doctor…

0.5 pounds could very well be water weight, or it could be the scale - some scales fluctuate. Just make you sure you weigh yourself first thing in the morning after you empty your bladder and with the same clothes on or naked.
-
it really doesn't mattetr where your calories come from...you should lose the same amount of weight. the person eating healthier will definitely be healthier on the inside though.

thanks - i hope the surgery goes well
