  • I've wondered if I needed to aim for more like 1400 a day rather than 1200. I haven't had a hard time sticking to the 1200, and I'm not hungry, but I'm sure I could add in a little more pretty easily.

  • 300-500 extra calories is all that is needed for a breastfeeding or pregnant woman. Maybe that 1500-1800 number would be an estimated total calories needed per day.
  • We like the avocado too. With a big bunch of chopped cilantro and a healthy dose of lime juice - maybe some green onion for a little crunch.
  • I haven't done a 5K along with c25k, but I have read plenty of people completing the "race" by doing the intervals of the week they are currently on. Lots of people run & walk a 5K, so doing the intervals throughout shouldn't be a problem at all. I just wouldn't rush the program too much. You're more likely to hurt…

  • I'm new to the boards here, but not new to C25K. I've completed the program before and I'm on week 6 this go around. My advice, make sure you have shoes that fit properly and are supportive. Now, they don't have to be super expensive or anything, but the difference really is night and day between a pair that isn't suited…
