Good on you. I also gave it up a few months back and I did feel a lit better for it. No more brain fog. Sadly I have let it slip back into my diet a little bit.

It looks like an Asian vegetable I used to eat it all the time when I lived in Thailand. Tastes great with Asian flavours.

Slow cooked beef os my fav. So tender and tasty.
-
It's a cheaper cut of meat that is normally cooked slowly to make it tender.

Cafe late with full cream milk.

Good on you. I don't drink soda because I just don't like it. I have an ongoing battle with coffee though so I can imagine how difficult it would be to ditch the caffeine. I am down to one cafinated coffee a day but giving it up completely is just to much to comprehend. Congratulations, enjoy spending that extra money on…

Whatever the heck you want. I think I would choose garlic prawns with crusty bread to dunk in the garlic oil, followed by lasagne then some sort of berry crumble with ice cream and cream. Hugs to you at this time.

When you consider that God could have commanded anything he wanted – Anything! The Ten Commandments have to rank as one of the great missed moral opportunities of all time. How different history would have been had he clearly and unmistakably forbade war, tyranny, taking over other people’s countries, slavery, exploitation…

This is one of our favourites from one of the Weight Watchers Cook Books. It takes a bit of time but is is very simple and tastes so good that it is worth the wait. Slow Cooked Beef with Pasta Serves: 4 Prep Time: 10 Min Cook Time: 2 hours and 10 Min Ingredients: 500g lean beef chuck steak, cut into 3cm cubes 2 onions, cut…

Why don't you let him read your post? Sometimes people can take information in better when they read it.

Congratulations on such a fantastic result. You look so great. I have about 44 to loose. You are now my inspiration.

Green smoothie

Chocolate and cakes. Anything sweet really.

Half a cup of quick oats. 3/4 cup of water or milk or almond milk little cinnamon, small greated carrot and a hand full of walnuts. You can add some form of sweetener if you need it but I prefer without.

I had a blow out on Friday but I have been back on the wagon since so not to much damage I think.

I had a good day again today. I have found that once I got over the cravings it has been really easy. Almost too easy. I am waiting for the bubble to burst. They had cakes at work for the last 3 days and I have not been tempted even a little bit. I would never have believed if someone told me eight weeks ago that I would…

I'm not sure where you are but I am in Australia. We have a brand of coconut yoghurt by a company called Nudie. It has no dairy in it. Just coconut, water, cornflour and a tiny bit of juice from monk fruit (know idea what type of fruit that is). We can get a plain or vanilla flavour here. It is weird because you think it…

I am also not eating any artificial sweeteners. I have purchased some rice malt syrup and dextrose for baking which is fructose free. I have not used them yet but I have bought them to try and get my children off fructose without them noticing too much. Making my first thing this afternoon. Let's hope they don't notice the…

I was a little difficult but I think it sped up getting over the cravings process considerably. It allows your pallet to reset so sweet things like bananas taste almost too sweet and hard to finish and things like cakes are not enjoyable because they are too sweet. I did have half a banana a few days after re introducing…

I didn't eat any sugar today they did have big fruit platter at work today and I was tempted to grab some water melon but I held out
-
All good today. They had cake fruit and cheese platters at work today. I ate the cheese only so feeling pretty good about that.

I am on week 7 of the 8 week I Quit Sugar program and it has worked well for me. I know that some people can handle sugar in moderation but for me, this was a real struggle. I do much better now that I have cut fructose right back in my diet. I cut out all sugar from week two through to the end of week 5 which included all…
-
Thats the program i'm doing. I am loving it. The meal plans make it easy and they support you the whole way through.
-
My day has been pretty good. No sugar eaten here except one small kiwi fruit this afternoon.
-
Can you make extra dinner and have left overs the next day?
-
I am also trying something similar. I am on week 7 now of an 8-week sugar kicking program. I am not eat anything with added fructose. I am also staying away from dried fruit, sugar, honey, agave and artificial sweeteners. I do eat whole fruit but I try to stick to low fructose fruit such as berries and kiwi fruit. I did…

I tried it a while back. I am not sure what the sugar content but it was very sweet. I couldn't drink it because it was so sweet.
-
You look fantastic. Congratulations on an awesome result.

Get below 80kg. I have 1.2km till I reach this mini goal.

Fructose from fruit and sugar are the same thing. The only difference is fruit gives you other good things like vitamins and fibre. Sugar gives you nothing but empty calories.
