I am one month in. I have lost 2kg so far which I am happy about. So far this has been so easy for me. I have been doing 18:6 mostly but I did do OMAD yesterday for the first time ever. I found it easy. I think I will try it again tomorrow.

I have about 25-30 kg to lose. However, my focus is more on changing my body shape rather than weight. I am pretty confident that the weight will come of as I continue my strength training and watching what I eat but I have not weighed myself since I started 4 weeks ago. I am waiting till my next fitness assessment at the…

Thanks for the suggestions I have never heard of Adobo sauce. I am thinking about trying bacon spring onion garlic and natural yoghurt. I will let you know how it goes.

I am not counting calories. Feel free to add me. I am also trying to focus on quality food. I do record what I eat (sometimes) but it is just to keep track of what I am eating and if I am starting to slip with poor food choices. Feel free to add me if you like.

I like to fry up some baby spinich with spring onion and mushrooms then I toss in two beaten eggs for a tasty omelet. Nice with hot sauce. Keeps me full till lunch time and only takes. 5 minutes.

Thanks all. I know I am being impatient. Just want to see some difference. Can’t wait for the next 5 weeks to see the changes. I have lost weight before but this is the first time with weight training. I am really keen to see my body change shape and get more defined.

You look fantastic. Congratulations for all your hard work.

You could try fitness blender on line. I do some of their videos online when I don’t feel like going to the gym. The have beginner through to advanced videos. With and without equipment. Hope you start to feel better soon.

I have a tub of nuts on my desk. I also like an apple cut into chunks with a little almond butter and a sprinkle of cinnamon. Boiled eggs are also good.

Do you have to move the snow everyday? I live in Australia and I don’t see snow. I think my heart would break if I spent two hours moving it to wake up the next day and have to do it all over again.

I don’t mind popping some pieces of salmon into the oven or poaching some chicken breast. They only take about 20 minutes and they are great added to salad.

Mine changes from week to week. This week it was a beef doner kebab. Very bad but oh so good.

Do you have access to Rice Malt Syrup in Canada? It is a natural sweetener and it doesn’t contain fructose. We can buy it in the super market and health food stores in Australia. I use it instead of sugar or honey when I want something sweet.

Happy Birthday I will be 42 later this year and I also have about 25kg to drop. Feel free to add me as a friend.

I have always exercised in the evening. This year I have started getting up at 5am and I am quite enjoying it at the moment. I do struggle to get out of bed but once I am up within 5 minutes I am fine. I also like that once I get home from work I can chill out because my workout is done.

Todays Commitment: Get up again at 5am for another exercise session. = :) Done Attend my fitness assessment - :) Done Drink more water - :| I think I drank about 1400ml I think I can do better Make my job less of a priority. The past six months it has been a lot higher on the priority list. Family and health are now going…

Thanks for clarifying Bex. I was wondering what the “being green meant”.

Hi Sarah I have recently started training at home using a bar and some hand weights. I also was finding it difficult to attend the gym and I was using this as an excuse not to exercise. One of the other ladies on this site recommended a website called Fitness Blender. I enjoy these workouts a lot and I can do them all at a…

What sort of blender did you get? If you have a high-powered one you can put just about anything it and it will obliterate it. When I started I started with a lot of fruit and the milder veggies like baby spinach and as I got used to it I put lesser fruit in and increased the veg content.

The first day was a success. I made my own healthy breakfast and lunch and had the prepared meal for dinner. It was nice to come home and not have to worry about what I am going to cook and then have to clean up. For the first time in ages I am under my calorie count and don't feel hungry so feeling pretty good.

My food arrived today ready to start tomorrow. A bit excited. I am planning to get up early tomorrow and do some exercise. Try and start on tje right foot.

Wow $80 sounds like a great price for 3 meals a day 7 days a week. I am really excited to start. My delivery comes on Tuesday to start on Wednesday. I am so looking forward to not feeling so uncomfortable all the time. And 17 pounds is a fantastic result. Are you exercising also? I have been pretty much a couch potato for…

Food labels are not the same in every country. Where I live I can see the sugar content of a product but it doesn't tell me if it is natural sugar like lactose in dairy or added sugar (fructose). Which makes it very difficult for me to make an informed decision. We have very common popular "healthy" brands of yoghurt here.…

I know nothing about cocaine. I have never experienced it myself or with friends or family so will not comment on which is more adictive. However, I think it is harder to avoid sugar as it is added to everything. Things that are advertised as healthy are loaded with sugar. It's in so much advertising so its hard to keep it…

Hale, I 100% agree with you. I stopped feeling hungry and the temptation to snack disappeared when I was off sugar. My mood also significantly improved. I was a lot calmer and my thinking was so much clearer. Was it all in my head? Maybe, but I don't care. I felt awesome when I was off sugar. I also went cold turkey for 8…

I have just picked the dinners for this week. I still have some poached chicken and fish that I put in salads for my lunches in my freezer that I need to get ride of first. I plan to do the lunch and dinners but I need to free up the space in my freezer. I decided to do this about 3 weeks ago but it has taken me that long…
