I am starting Lite N Easy next weeks. Does anyone else do prepared meals that get delivered? It is a bit expensive but I think it will be worth it for the convenience. I did it once before a long time ago and it worked.I have tried doing it on my own and I have managed to get my weight stable but struggling get it off. Hoping this will kickstart me. Going to give it a good go for 6 months. My husband has also decided to do it also. Hoping if we are both doing it then we can support each other.

If you like it and it really is more convenient, it's probably worth it fro you, and if eating it creates a sustained calorie deficit, you will lose weight. What it isn't, is a magic trick to let you eat more and lose more, or never have cravings again, or teach you how to plan meals and cook without it.3

Good luck with it. If you did it before you know what to expect.0

If it's something that you'll use long term then go for it. Which calorie amount did you go far?0

I have just picked the dinners for this week. I still have some poached chicken and fish that I put in salads for my lunches in my freezer that I need to get ride of first. I plan to do the lunch and dinners but I need to free up the space in my freezer. I decided to do this about 3 weeks ago but it has taken me that long to run down my meat stock for dinners. So just starting off with the dinners for this week. I plan to go onto the 1200 calorie plan in another week or so and see how that goes. But I am going to tweak it a little. I quit sugar a few months back so I am going to avoid eating their yoghurt etc as it is to sweet for me now. I will buy my own plain one that I am used to. Also plan to swap out dried fruit for real fruit or nuts. I will work out the tweeks so I stay within the calories.1

I am on a meal plan called Sensible Meals. I started 7 weeks ago and have lost 17 pounds. I started because a friend had lost weight on it. Where I live, you can actually pick up your meals if you want or get them shipped. I pick up mine. So I don't have the added cost of shipping. For breakfast / lunch / dinner Monday - Friday it cost $80.00. It's not a meal plan if you are on dietary restrictions. But the food is really good for a meal plan and you even get a waffle and bacon as breakfast some days for breakfast...My kind of plan...lol0

Wow $80 sounds like a great price for 3 meals a day 7 days a week. I am really excited to start. My delivery comes on Tuesday to start on Wednesday. I am so looking forward to not feeling so uncomfortable all the time. And 17 pounds is a fantastic result. Are you exercising also? I have been pretty much a couch potato for the last few months so I am going to start exercising this week also. I have about 20KG to loss with is about 44 pounds.0

My freezer is full of Stouffers, Lean Cuisine's, and Smart ones frozen meals for when I make meals that are too high in calories for my family. I love them...My new love is Stouffer's turkey and dressing...It is amazing!!!
Be careful of the salt though. All these meals are very high in salt.1 -
My food arrived today ready to start tomorrow. A bit excited. I am planning to get up early tomorrow and do some exercise. Try and start on tje right foot.0

If you have the money and enjoy the convenience, why not?0

There is a guy at my gym who does this- it's his business 10$/ meal- you order 10 and get 2 free I think.
it's honestly kind of awesome. It's expensive- 50$ for lunches is pricey for me when I can cook that and extra food for dinner. BUT it saves on time and energy- so IMHO that's worth it to some extent. So- I do it now when I am really busy on the weekends and have a hard time cooking. But not every weekend- too pricey.
But if it works- then that's all that matters- I loved not having to cook LOL- no lie.0 -
The first day was a success. I made my own healthy breakfast and lunch and had the prepared meal for dinner. It was nice to come home and not have to worry about what I am going to cook and then have to clean up. For the first time in ages I am under my calorie count and don't feel hungry so feeling pretty good.1

There are worse things to throw money at! Good luck.
Sounds like a good idea for those who need the convenience and ease.0 -
I do that here in Iowa. I buy 24 home cooked meals all basically 400 Cals or less filled with protein great fat and carbs and I spend $170... last me 3 weeks because I cook breakfast and lunch. And I usually eat out Friday and Saturday nights. Love it!1
