This is my patent pending hangover cure. 1. WATER 2. Greasy food -- preferably fast food like McDs or Burger King 3. Caffeine, in the form of a carbonated soda. Bring me the Dr Pepper! 4. A productive trip to the bathroom. Excersize the demons. :)

Try an interval training...even the eliptical can be fun if you do an interval training session. I like Expresso bikes for boredom busters. They're like playing a video game while you're biking. Also, classes can be intimidating at first but a great way to get a good workout if you stick it out!

Depnds on the kid. We let our 6 year old play Daddy's iPad a lot. We put it on airplane mode so he can't get on line with out us knowing, and we pick the games he'd like. It's the times, man, they're taking their standardized tests on little mac airbooks nowadays.

I'll tell you what you do this time of the year. LAYER! I run in anything above 0F, as long as I can manage the ice. Treadmill, biking, swimming, lifting, pilates all are nice winter activities. For good treadmill boredom beaters--look at Another Mother Runner website. They have a list of 10 runs in 60 minutes or less that…

Food and self discipline go hand in hand for me. I've done better lately by telling myselt that I deserve better. I deserve to feel good -- not overstuffed, not regretful for a bad choice, not uncomfortably full. The first mile I wish I was dead, mile 2 and 3 are usually not horrible and if I make it past there I feel like I could run all day. This is why running is so addicting!

I love the Wendy's berry almond chicken salad. It's delicious. Also, Subway is always a good choice for Real Food. Good luck!

If you log it, will you eat more? I'm a big fan of seeing what happens. So log it, see if you start eating more and see what happens to your fitness/body size. If you're walking and on your feet all day, it's a calorie burner. I'm a mom with a part time office job, so I put my activity at light active and only log when I…

It's a mind set. Jogging makes you feel like you're not doign a godo enough workout, your'e not fast enoguh, etc to be running. The fact is that running IS jogging and jogging IS running. If you're doing a bit more than walking with a hop, you're running and you're a runner. No matter how fast or slow you are. Run!
