  • If there's steps in your home, go up and down a few times, for example when going down go back up then back down making sure to put both feet on every steps. (plus bonus cardio)
  • One day late but I'm here! Got a new fitbit and I'm still navigating how it affects my MFP. July 3rd SW: 168 August SW : 257,8 August GW : 250 August EW: 254.3
  • These last few days have been rough, I've been struggling mentally and my boyfriend tried to cheer me up with a nice chocolate cake but eating it made me feel guilty and spiral downward. I'm slowly getting back up. And unfortunately so has my weight. I've cancelled my gym workouts for the week to try and focus on my mental…
  • People who comments on your workout. I was doing a mostly light cardio day because I had a hurt shoulder. And someone came to me and said: You wont lose weight only walking on a threadmill. Like what the hell? The same guy kept going person to person and comment on stuff. (He was not an employee) People that keep changing…

  • You are very inspiring!! You are doing great! Can't wait for the update!
  • I've learned to appreciate dresses and skirts. They last longer when loosing weight, because pants get too big but you can always put on a dress. At the same time body dysmorphia gets real. I need to double check sizes and still get it wrong most time now.

  • Small NSV I went from the third hook straight to the 1st hook on my bra!
  • That's an amazing progress! Keep going you are doing great and don't forget to celebrate the non-scale victories those always are the most rewarding!
  • @sokaina I extrapollated to 30yo but this is what the calculator gave me. With the information in your post, you exercise fairly heavily, so you would still need AT LEAST between 1900 to 2000 calories a day.
  • I think you might be eating too few calories and putting your body in starvation mode. I would suggest re calcultating your Basal metabolic rate
  • I almost fell off my bike because my leggings are getting looser and the seat of them got caught on the bike seat while pedaling
  • Don't forget you are also getting stronger and you are also replacing fat by muscles which weights a little more. Don't focus only on the scale, take some mesurements, takes some pictures you will start to see the changes soon enough too.

  • I got into using those self-serve bikes while it was kinda fun once in a while I didn't change my lifestyle or my diet. However my boyfriend got a heart attack and realized I needed to make a serious change in the way we live. So now I take the bike to work everyday and on most errands and because he's out of work, we cook…
  • Pretending to work :D
  • A little bit late to the conversation but here it goes. I agree with the general consensus of slow and consistent. I was ashamed of being so out of breath that I had to stop multiple times on my first bike ride on a 5% hill. After only a week, I was able to make that same distance with no breaks but still fairly out of…
  • My Significant Other had a heart attack at only 40 years old that really scared us. I don't want that to happen to me. With the pandemic and staying home. I packed up the pounds and lost the little activity I had while commuting since I was working from home. Now that restrictions have eased a little, it means going back…
  • Makes a lot of sense, I think I will apply this to my lifestyle.
