Thank you for sharing! You look beautiful. Good luck if you decide to do a marathon! It was probably the most challenging thing I have ever done but the feeling of accomplishment made all the training, long runs, eating right worth it!

Several things: 1. The feeling I will have once I reach my goal. I did it! No can help me do it, they can recommend stuff and encourage me but in the end it is the effort I put in it to succeed. 2. Age. I don't know how old you are but I am turning 30 this year, I know 30 is not old by any means but for some reason I feel…

Mine is not so much the lack of working out, but the lack of control of what I eat. I always want chocolate, salty foods, and greasy foods. This month I am going to maybe indulge one of those each day ( at a moderate level)to spread it out vs, eating all of them every day to help satisfy my cravings. If I go cold turkey, I…

Welcome back. I understand how the loss of a loved one can through you off. I am back after having a few people pass in 2014. I lost track of me and gained back 30lbs. Now I am back- currently on a 51 day streak- re-motivated and ready to reach my goal. Feel free to add and we can keep each other accountable.

Logging my food is key for me. When I see it on the screen then I know exactly how I am doing. I took a long break from logging and completely lost sight of how many calories were in certain food. Now I that have been logging again, I am making better choices and thinking ahead. You can do it!

General Advice: Just because you do well during the week with eating and working out, don't think that you can spend the whole weekend eating everything. 5 days of a solid routine with 2 days of not monitoring = staying the same. I did this. MFP Advice: I love the success threads. It motivatedsme to post there once I reach…

I found this: http://www.sparkpeople.com/blog/blog.asp?post=how_to_make_yourself_work_out_when_its_dark_out I have been struggling really bad summer. I can do tips 1-3 but then I hit the snooze. I am going to try to play music to see if that will get me going.

I enjoy Jillian's videos, I like her kickboxing one, 6 week 6 pack, ripped in 30 (very similar to 30 DS), buns and thighs ( I was sore for a whole week after the first week), and yoga meltdown. Most are 30 mins long. The yoga is a strength yoga but it also helps with flexibilty. I hope this helps.

Everyone has some great goals for the summer. Here are mine: 1. Lose my last 8 pounds (been working on this since March) 2. Go through Ripped in 30 and 30 day shred 3. Learn to swim so I can possibly to a triathlon 4. Try to get up 3 times a week before work for a run or yoga Good luck on reaching your summer goals!

That's great! I'm glad you can see your is changing even thought the scale says differently. I did the same thing when I went back home, I tried on my prom dress (8 years ago) and it fits. I am going to have it shortened so I can use it as a nice evening gown. :) Keep up the great work!

Feel free to add! We are similar in age and close in the amount we want to lose. I have been on here for almost a year. You can do this!

I feel like my cowarkers, close friends, and boyfriend all encourage me and know what I am trying to lose weight. However, I lack in the friends that are motivated too. I have found that I can't rely on workout buddies so I do all my workouts on my own, it got a little lonely. Now I love workout by myself, it MY TIME to…
