Whenever you buy it, it is sensible to tell the shop that your wedding is a little earlier than it is. The last thing you want is to be panicking about it being there or not. Personally, I started looking about 10 months before the wedding, but didn't buy anything for another month or so. x

Tailcoat, waistcoat, trousers (obviously) and a top hat. We've not sorted out colours yet. I'm thinking grey though.

I threw myself in at the deep end by signing up for a sponsored 10k charity run for Cancer Research a fair way in the future. That way I couldn't let myself get away with the excuses. It's an amazing charity and I wanted to complete to ensure I raised money for them. Every time I though "urgh it'd be so much nicer to stay…

We are planning on making our own invites.... not entirely sure on the how part yet though. We aren't doing save the date cards as they are a bit of a waste of time in my view. We've just told people the dates when we've seen them at Christmas. We've also got friends doing our flowers and photography which has helped a lot.
