Tricep push down, but I've also used it for abs. Kneeling on the floor and doing cruches, just make sure to use your abs, not your hips.

What's working for me is the gym 3X week, heavy lifting for 45 minutes, and then 45 minutes on the treadmill 5X week. If I don't get my workouts in, my progress stalls. I like Cooking Light and when I've entered most of the recipes into my diary, someone has already uploaded them so it's easy to log the calories.

Tortilla soup would be another good option. I find the liquid fills me up and it takes longer to eat.

Google Martha Stewart's recipe for spaghetti squash with turkey meatballs. It's delicious, the whole family loved it. Meatballs were moist and flavorful and when I plugged it into MFP, the calories per serving were 364.

I agree with looking at their websites for nutritional data. Then...print them out so you have them with you. I find that if I can plan in advance, I usually stick to my decision and don't waver once I'm standing there ready to order. Put it in your fitness planner ahead of time and that usually helps me, too. I know how…

I usually want to snack before dinner, so I try to drink water (like everyone else says) or eat a vegetable snack like peppers, carrots, cucumber that doesn't have too many calories. A glass of tea usually works, too. Takes time to sip it and it usually distracts me. As someone else said, not having bad snacks in the house…
